What we came up with is what we refer to as Industrial Chic – an interior that celebrates the grit and sexiness of the city but also embraces the metropolitan chicness that only Manhattan can provide. We took raw elements such as blackened steel, bronze and concrete and paired them with soft, tactile fabrics like cottons, silk, leathers + furs in subtle shades of greys + neutral tones to create an inviting, artistic + unique atmosphere. It’s the small yet subtle details of this interior that set the mood – buffalo leather clad columns + walls, crystal + LED wallpapers, fur rugs + bed throws and polished precious metal details throughout. Handmade in England by Vispring mattress company, the Victoria mattress, headboard, and foundation have been introduced as a limited edition and as a great value. The Victoria mattress has 1680 hand-nested coils with Shetland wool, British wool, cotton, and a generous amount of British horsetail hair. Horsehair is a superb fiber that provides unparalleled springiness to ensure optimum air circulation, thereby maximizing comfort during sleep. The divan has over 1300 hand-nested coils.

A grand dining room for my special and glamorous client. My goal in this project was to introduce the new world with the old classic world, the contemporary table, wall covering, and color palette created a fantastic dialogue with the Salvador Dali limited edition bronze sculpture which was created in 1983. This is an example of a diptych (double panel) limited edition, contemporary fine art piece.
