This mosaic was a thrill to research, design and build! As a skilled and knowledgeable artist herself, the client introduced me to one of her favorite artists, French painter and designer Sonia Delaunay. The mosaic is inspired by Delaunay's use of angles and circles, and the intersections of lines and arcs. It brings color, texture, light and visual energy to a once all-white and sterile kitchen.
