This Qing dynasty cabinet retains much of it’s original red lacquer paint on the front side, which has a wonderful patina and shows it’s age, though it is very sound and intact. This cabinet is about 180+ years old from Northern China. The dimensions are impressive, with simple elegant lines of the Ming dynasty. The two doors open to reveal 2 shelves and a large hidden compartment behind the front apron, accessible by lifting the bottom interior shelf. The center round hardware on the doors are made of brass. The cabinet has been lightly cleaned to ensure you are receiving a clean and beautiful Asian antique to infuse with your home. This Ethan Allen gray leather Hyde sofa is the perfect piece for placement in front of the windows. The top grain leather will not stain or fade. Many other leather color options are available. To create a larger looking space, I added the mirrored chest- not only to visually increase space, but for additional storage. The round coffee table is perfect to highlight the beautiful cream rug and the sphere gives a nice alternative to square corners. The use of metal also provides another unique feature in the room. We did not want to over power the room with a large entertainment center. Instead we selected a stand rather than a unit and kept the wood finish light.
