Combining a limited use of artificial turf on the parkway and side of driveway with landscaping dominated by colorful succulents, the blue flowers of Buddleia and Alogyne, and the emerald of sago palms, continues to delight the customer.

Travertine terrace paving stones were selected to compliment the warm stucco on the home. They provide a cool walking surface on a hot summer day. The fountain has a travertine surround and bluestone tread stock caps. The fountain features multiple water jets, wall scuppers by Fountains Unique and a multi tiered metal fountain. A built in Wolf grill is located in the perfect place for family gatherings. Accent plantings include Red Cutleaf Japanese Maple, Gold Mound Spirea, Gold tipped Hinoki Cypress and Steeds Holly and Blue Hydrangea. All the plants were selected for the maximum amount of color and texture throughout the year.

This is an urban single family home situated on a narrow lot that is about 1/8 of an acre and is only 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean. I designed a completely new garden and installed everything along with the client’s help. The garden I designed consisted of an ornamental grass garden, a xeriscape garden with decomposed granite mounds, fruit trees and shrubs located throughout, a jungle forest garden, and raised brick vegetable beds in the rear. Previously, there was a wood deck covering almost the entire property that was removed by the owner. We installed root guard around all of the walkways. I installed the raised brick vegetable beds and walkways around the vegetable beds. Many of the plants were chosen to provide food and habitat for pollinators as well. Dozens of fruiting plants were located in the garden. So, it is called the “Garden of Eatin”.

This AMAZING outdoor living space in Quarryville, PA was just recently completed. The project included the installation of paver pool decking, boulder retaining walls, irregular natural stone steps, and hidden sliding board mound. surrounding the pool and paver patio we installed new plantings, mulch beds, decorative river gravel beds, flagstone walkways, landscape lighting, fine grading, seeding, and erosion control to dress up all the disturbed areas. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to take a trip down that sliding board…………..
