When installing a natural gas fire pit or fireplace, make sure you have a permit and a certified gas fitter to do the job correctly and safely. The clients of this project desired a cohesive landscape where neighborhood children could gather and play and adults could also congregate for large parties. A pool and paved drive court provide multiple areas for play while a raised terrace allows for supervision as well as separation. Although the circulation was driven by the needs of the children, it does not impose on the adult spaces. The landscape provides enjoyment for the whole family in a safe and beautiful environment.

When clients moved in, this north side of the house was always a muddy mess. The combination of the path with the dry streambed gave the water a safe place to go, and gave clients a comfortable walk.

This project helped stabilize the driveway and provided safe and easy back yard access.

Working with Allworth Design Terrain implemented a space that was ideal for entertaining and a space for the kids to kick balls. Every detail was thought through and the finished result reflects it. The custom built glass railing keeps the view intact and the family safe.

This was a solution we presented to the client for a tricky sloped side-yard area. It was important to show how it would be both safe and attractive both during the day, and in the evening.

A large French drain was installed to collect the drainage coming from the client's roof and the neighbor's property. Water will be kept away from the foundation, and safely released back into the earth after being filtered.
