Being a double driveway gate, one of the panels is held firm to the ground with a cane bolt. The client chose an 18-inch contemporary stainless steel cane bolt, which was installed directly into the concrete of the driveway. When they want to open both doors of the driveway they simply lift the cane bolt, rest it in its bracket, and open the door. You can see on the inside of the left gate that there is a dog living on this property. A dog that likes to jump! The kitchen, butler’s pantry, and laundry room uses Arbor Mills cabinetry and quartz counter tops. Wide plank flooring is installed to bring in an early world feel. Encaustic tiles and black iron hardware were used throughout. The butler’s pantry has polished brass latches and cup pulls which shine brightly on black painted cabinets. Across from the laundry room the fully custom mudroom wall was built around a salvaged 4” thick seat stained to match the laundry room cabinets.

Our designer has achieved a stylish look by combining dark cabinets and light-colored marbles.
