In this tiny home, every item must serve multiple purposes. The island has storage on all 3 sides. The banquette seating has storage and bed underneath. All cabinetry designed by us and executed by Silver Maple Woodworks.

The kitchen is probably my favorite space we renovated in the home. It's super crisp...which also might be my favorite interior design term :) The marble 3-D backsplash brings depth and texture. Loads of storage in this kitchen as we added cabinets under the grand island. We carried the water vibes through by adding blue Art & accessories. The white Quartz countertops are practically maintenance free: they are stain, acid, scratch, heat and impact resistant...perfect for a family.

Hand-scraped hardwood floors have been around for over 200 years. If hand-scraped floors are trending now, it's not a short term thing. A hand-scraped look will always be in demand and will always be an option for you. Now, there are hand-scraped looks and there are hand-crafted floors. This is a medium hand-scraped look. This means it is not made by skilled craftsmen, it is actually factory made but it still has a great look. Sometimes these factory made hand-scrapes are a little bit easier to afford, but if you want a custom hand-crafted floor you will want to look at the Amish hand-scraped. The Amish have always been great with woodworking and other great skills. They can make a ultra-traditional Amish hand-scrape or a soft hand-scrape. We have multiple samples in our showroom if you want to have a look at either of these types of floors in person.
