Copper piping was used inlace of traditional handrail to add to the texture of the staircase. The stairs are the original 100+ year-old wood stairs that access main street.

New steps lead from the cul-de-sac to the motor court. The motor court is lined with a low wall with integrated light fixtures. Planting was installed in the spring of 2014 and will fill in nicely in the coming years.

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. Work on this historic Buckhead estate has evolved through three owners since 1986. Each owner had their own vision and program of needs for the property. From reclaimed meadows to pool house, each was accommodated gracefully on this eight acre lot. A significant non-native invasive plant removal program has been in place for 15 years with great success and benefit.
