With a pattern reminiscent of Persian rugs from the 18th century, our Sivas rug features a timeless design that looks at home in both modern and traditional spaces. Subtly contrasting colors and a slightly irregular floral pattern give this rug a faded, vintage look that is further enhanced by a unique finishing process. Thanks to the washing techniques the artisans use, no two Sivas rugs look exactly alike and all are exceptionally soft and lustrous.
Please note that shedding is a natural occurrence in high-quality wool rugs, but will decrease over time. The amount of shedding will depend on the traffic pattern and use of your rug.

Carson Pass real thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill adds character to the exterior of this beautiful building. Carson Pass is a fieldledge style natural thin stone veneer with an impressive depth of color. The stone has an abundance of natural mineral staining and lichen growing on the individual pieces. Upon close inspection Carson Pass almost appears to have been painted due to the vibrant colors, however, the colors are a completely natural occurrence. There are two types of lichen present on the stone. The first type provides some of the black tones and the second type gives more grey tones. The grey lichen is less abundant and almost looks as if mortar was accidentally splashed on the stone.

In this view of the rear of the home, you can see how the gutters stand out in direct light. We find that guests notice and ask about copper gutters because they look different than what people normally see.
There is more visible in this picture. The home went too long without gutter maintenance. You can see signs of damage to windows and trim from previous leaks and overflows. Contractors repaired this damage, and the homeowner chose copper gutters for more than their beauty. The material's longevity will help prevent future occurrences of this kind of damage.
This downspout ends over unprotected yard. The block below protects the soil. It prevents impact and channels rainwater away from the home's foundation.

Set in Montana's tranquil Shields River Valley, the Shilo Ranch Compound is a collection of structures that were specifically built on a relatively smaller scale, to maximize efficiency. The main house has two bedrooms, a living area, dining and kitchen, bath and adjacent greenhouse, while two guest homes within the compound can sleep a total of 12 friends and family. There's also a common gathering hall, for dinners, games, and time together. The overall feel here is of sophisticated simplicity, with plaster walls, concrete and wood floors, and weathered boards for exteriors. The placement of each building was considered closely when envisioning how people would move through the property, based on anticipated needs and interests. Sustainability and consumption was also taken into consideration, as evidenced by the photovoltaic panels on roof of the garage, and the capability to shut down any of the compound's buildings when not in use.
