Biscayne Bay Fish is an abstract take on a nature inspired painting. Jon truly captures the spirit of the tropics with these beautiful, bright colors. At Jon's studio near Palm Beach, Florida, there are several tanks with tropical fish and other sea life that inspire Jon on a daily basis and this beautiful, unique painting is a product of that inspiration. CLOSE-UP VIEW
This master bath makeover starts with bare walls that have been floated out smooth over the sheetrock. Then we hand applied a beautiful custom tinted, soft grey Venetian plaster. After two coats of plaster, the walls were waxed and buffed. This process seals the plaster, leaving a long-lasting finish. The finished product is subtle and undeniably beautiful! I’ve included a close-up view of the finish below.

Trail - Mark Tipple
Mark Tipple is an Australian photographer specialising in marine documentary. In recent years, he has closely collaborated with social welfare organisations in Australia and neighbouring countries. His most important work is entitled “The Underwater Project” – a project for which he produced a report as an official photographer, presenting the relationships that Australians maintain with the ocean. His objective is to interrelate the various facets of his work in order to shed light on stories that traditional media tend to ignore. His personal photography or photographs derived from specific commissions (World Vision, Planet Ocean or the Nanda Dian Foundation) are widely diverse and deeply humane. Widely documented, they are now presented in print media as famous as The Australian, The Independent or National Geographic.

This 1896 Italianate Victorian home in Portland Heights was all but derelict in 2017.
We partnered with Look Construction LLC. to save this iconic home that sits atop a steep embankment—a huge challenge for the necessary new foundation. The house was lifted and new foundation poured adding 4 feet and a whole new floor to boot.
It had been stripped of all its original interior character over the years, so the design replaced and added to what was there originally. We re-designed the home’s layout, reconfiguring the kitchen, moving the lower staircase, adding a staircase to the loft room and rebuilding the widows walk roof deck. All doorways were raised to 9 feet to add to the sense of space.
Finally, we splurged on a selection of incredible wallpapers to add drama and romance to this stunning show piece of a home.
The Penny Black House is featured in Gray Magazine #39, April 2018.

This large curved 2 level deck was built in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The flooring is Ipe hardwood that was screwed down and plugged. The plugs were then sanded flush with the floor so there were no visible fasteners. We used over 8000 plugs on the deck!
The railing is a custom railing by Deck Pros. Most of the components are from the Azek railing system while the top rail and sub-rail are Ipe hardwood. It took many hours in our shop to bend the rail and attach the Ipe top rail.
Low voltage LED light caps and stair lights provide illumination at night. The customer plans to add a pergola to the high 6x6 rail posts.
