I took these photos on my trip to Colombia back in 2013. I visited Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena, Taganga and Isla de Rosario. Never have I seen a country so beautiful and my Spanish was truly at it's best. Almost all of the photos in this album are from Cartagena, within the Walled City. It speaks of history and how some people wanted to add a burst of color to it.

The search was on for a retaining/seat wall face stone that would complement the Smoked Pine Borealis paver. The new Dark Ridge color Pro-Fit Alpine Ledgestone by Boral really jumped out at the client as he browsed my manufacturer catalogs.

The transistion between the floor and the pebble was laid out using a high tech solution, an extension cord. We were shooting for a wavy edge.

She immediately was drawn to the back/white palette with pops of pinks, purples, and greens.
I found some graphic Designers Guild fabric in black, white pinks, oranges and green…it was perfect. From there the black diamond textured wallpaper on the ceiling which had a little sparkle gave her room the uniqueness needed! The zebra hide rug was easy, as well as the greens in the accessories and lighting. A Stray dog overhead light that added a little whimsy finished the space for her and adds a beautiful reflection and shadow play on the perimeter walls!

Mark Tipple is an Australian photographer specialising in marine documentary. In recent years, he has closely collaborated with social welfare organisations in Australia and neighbouring countries. His most important work is entitled “The Underwater Project” – a project for which he produced a report as an official photographer, presenting the relationships that Australians maintain with the ocean. His objective is to interrelate the various facets of his work in order to shed light on stories that traditional media tend to ignore. His personal photography or photographs derived from specific commissions (World Vision, Planet Ocean or the Nanda Dian Foundation) are widely diverse and deeply humane. Widely documented, they are now presented in print media as famous as The Australian, The Independent or National Geographic.
