This project is the third collaboration between the client and DEANE. They wanted their kitchen renovation to feel updated, fresh and modern, while also customized to their tastes. Frameless white cabinetry with modern, narrow-framed doors and satin nickel hardware contrasts cleanly against the opposing rift-oak wood cabinetry. The counters are a combination of polished white glass with Caesarstone countertops in Airy Concrete quartz providing durable, functional workspaces. The single-slab, White Calacatta Sapien Stone porcelain backsplash provides a dramatic backdrop for the floating shelves with integrated lighting. The owners selected a dual-fuel, 6 burner Wolf 48" range with griddle, and decided to panel the SubZero refrigerator and freezer columns that flank the message center/charging station. The custom, boxed hood adds bold lines, while the full Waterstone faucet suite is a memorable feature. It was important to create areas for entertaining, so the pantry features functional, dark navy lower cabinetry for storage with a counter for secondary appliances. The dining area was elevated by the custom furniture piece with sliding doors and wood-framed glass shelves, allowing the display of decorative pieces, as well as buffet serving. `eleVate' is a unique wine display and storage system that creates a highly aesthetic presentation of wine. Bottle cradles are suspended by stainless steel rods to present wine in a stunning format. Stainless steel rods are engineered to span vertically between a soffit and base unit that provides structure and house the LED display lighting. The `eleVate' bottle cradles are engineered to secure onto the rods, creating a visually appealing, one-of-a-kind wine display. A variety of mediums can be used for the bottle cradles including acrylic, bamboo, Euro-ply (with walnut or other hardwood veneers) and more. The racking on this wall features double depth racking to a height of 42". There is a granite drink ledge above. The racking then features a canted display row across the wall with hidden display lighting. Above, we show horizontal display racks on each end of the wall with individual bottle storage between. We have mounted the evaporator component of the cooling system to the wall above the individual bottle storage.

These past clients wanted to renovate and redecorate their 25-year-old family room, primary bedroom, and ensuite. They wanted a vibrant and fresh colour palette for the family room. We replaced the flooring, designed a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and provided new furnishings and décor. In the bedroom and ensuite, they wanted a fresh and spa-like colour palette. Both function and beauty were important to them. We changed the ensuite layout to allow for a large walk-in shower and two vanities. Beautiful wallpaper and finishes adorn this new space. The bedroom was given a major facelift. New furniture, bedding, drapery, and wallcoverings provide them with a bedroom to retire to at night.
