Overall:
1. Hardwood floors: Oak hardwood finished with “Special Walnut” # 224 by Minwax. Two coats of water-based satin polyurethane.
2. Hall bath second floor: Granite countertop 1-1/4” thick with 4 inch backsplash. Kohler undermount oval sink. Kitchen. Floor is 6” x 24” porcelain tile. Cabinets are chocolate brown with soft close hinges and drawers. All appliances stainless steel Whirlpool. Lighting finishes are brush nickel. Challenge: the dinette area had a brick wall with an overall field color of orangey-pink. Thankfully it also had shades of gray and brown. We used the gray tones and the chocolate of the cabinets to neutralize and tone down the brick color and enhance the gray/brown tones in the brick.
3. Staircase oak balusters were removed and new wrought iron balusters installed.
4. Master bath has a double vanity with two undermount white oval sinks set in a 1-1/4” granite countertop with 4” backsplash. Sinks by Kohler. Shower was expanded by eliminating a small linen closet. This gained 2’ to make a 6’ shower. Shower floor is a natural stone pebble floor. It was also used in the custom niche for soap and shampoos. Floor and shower tile is 12" x 24" porcelain tile. Frameless glass shower surround.
5. Paint colors throughout are: Sherwin-Williams SW7672 satin on walls. Ceilings are flat Navajo white. Millwork is satin Navajo White.

This mid century modern style office desk was built with solid eastern birch top and fronts, poplar for the drawers and Baltic birch plywood for the drawer box. The legs were hand turned from local Cooper Landing, Alaska birch. All wood joinery construction except for table clips used to secure the top surface to allow for wood movement. Finished with water based polyurethane.

This 6 foot tall, solid red oak, tower cabinet was commissioned by a customer who needed a storage solution for her cleaning products. She didn't have appropriate storage space other than in her dining room, so she was looking for a piece that was both functional and attractive.
We designed and built this tower cabinet entirely out of red oak wood and then applied a red chestnut stain before adding a glossy polyurethane varnish for durability and protection.
All of the hardware added to the cabinet has an antique bronze finish that pairs well with the red chestnut stain. The inside shelf can be moved to three total height positions, or can be removed entirely if needed. Given the height of the door and cabinet, a third hinge is utilized to ensure stability and strength. The top of the cabinet, door edges and base molding all have a decorative trim added to them to finish out the piece.

Home Renovation - Carpet, Stairs and Railings, LVT
We wrapped up a detailed and extensive flooring and carpentry project that spanned multiple stages and materials. Here's a breakdown of what we accomplished:
Hardwood Refinishing:
* Refinished hardwood on steps, railings, and floors with DuraSeal medium color stain.
* Applied three coats of water-based polyurethane with a matte finish, plus an additional coat of BonaTrafficHD finish for extra durability.
Carpentry:
*Installed a new railing from the basement to the second floor, featuring five posts made from Square Red Oak (3.5" wide) for a sleek and sturdy look.
Carpet Installation:
*Installed carpet in bedrooms and closets using Monte Carlo II material in the color 6076 Antique Fresco.
*Laid down a carpet runner on the stairs for added safety and a touch of elegance.
LVT Installation:
*Laid luxury vinyl tile (LVT) with rubber underlayment for enhanced comfort and sound absorption.
*Used Shaw Endura Plus LVT material in the color Marina 2014
Each stage of the project was executed with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch workmanship. The results are a beautifully finished, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space.
