The Cabaret is a show stopper that exudes a coy playfulness. The spirited youthfulness blends timeless style with spontaneous energy to make the boldest of statements. The dynamic charm and sociable nature of this piece is intensified with an injection of attitude, just like a Cabaret.
Billiards Table
This marquis piece embodies a shrewd, thoughtful nature. Each individually crafted layer is meticulously integrated into a composition that renders the Arclight a whole that truly becomes greater than the sum of all its parts. This luminary statement piece faithfully sparks an aura of high design.

This family’s basement had become a catch-all space and was sorely underutilized. Although it was spacious, the current layout wasn’t working. The homeowners wanted to transform this space from closed and dreary to open and inviting.
Specific requirements of the design included:
- Opening up the area to create an awesome family hang out space game room for kids and adults
- A bar and eating area
- A theater room that the parents could enjoy without disturbing the kids at night
- An industrial design aesthetic
The transformation of this basement is amazing. Walls were opened to create flow between the game room, eating space and theater rooms. One end of a staircase was closed off, enabling the soundproofing of the theater.
A light neutral palette and gorgeous lighting fixtures make you forget that you are in the basement. Unique materials such as galvanized piping, corrugated metal and cool light fixtures give the space an industrial feel.
Now, this basement functions as the great family hang out space the homeowners envisioned.

The formal dining room is all about the details. Added moulding on the ceiling draws your eye in and frames the dining table from overhead.

The formal dining room looks out to the spacious backyard with French doors opening to the pool and spa area. The wood burning brick fireplace was painted white in the renovation and white wainscoting surrounds the room, keeping it fresh and modern. The dramatic wood pitched roof has skylights that bring in light and keep things bright and airy.

Architect C.P. Drewett tucked the dining room into a niche off the living room, providing intimacy in an otherwise open area. In the foreground, water runs down a sheet of glass, offering what he calls a “transition moment” between public and private spaces. The table has a shattered-glass top and is surrounded by resin chairs that look like metal.
Featured in the November 2008 issue of Phoenix Home & Garden, this "magnificently modern" home is actually a suburban loft located in Arcadia, a neighborhood formerly occupied by groves of orange and grapefruit trees in Phoenix, Arizona. The home, designed by architect C.P. Drewett, offers breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain from the entire main floor, guest house, and pool area. These main areas "loft" over a basement level featuring 4 bedrooms, a guest room, and a kids' den. Features of the house include white-oak ceilings, exposed steel trusses, Eucalyptus-veneer cabinetry, honed Pompignon limestone, concrete, granite, and stainless steel countertops. The owners also enlisted the help of Interior Designer Sharon Fannin. The project was built by Sonora West Development of Scottsdale, AZ.
