For this project, our client came to us looking for a full-service company to build a custom, high-efficient new home with minimal exterior maintenance. In order to achieve this, we used a different medium of product, including split-faced concrete block to natural cedar siding, both of which require zero maintenance. The design throughout was congruent with the contemporary farmhouse aesthetic and highly-efficient goal of the client and adhering to the energy standards of Efficiency Vermont. A few of the features included a finished concrete floor, a cutting-edge wood-fired boiler system to efficiently heat the home.

This home had a water heater that consumed the the pantry space making it unusable. We installed this Glass Framed Pantry Door etched with the words "Pantry" and a "Wheat Sheath"

Jefferson Door supplied the interior doors (Masonite), exterior doors, windows (Krestmart), moulding, stair parts and hardware (Emtek) for this home. House was built by Hyman L Bartolo Jr. Contractors.

Constricted by a structural wall that could not be moved, to widen the door leading into the master bedroom we eked out every inch by removing the hinged door, eliminating the casing, and installing a barn door that slides completely out of the way of the opening. Heavy duty hardware promotes easy motion and minimal force to open and close the door.
