The home is located in Atlanta, GA and was a complete ground up project. We worked with the very talented architect Rodolfo Castro. We worked closely with him and the clients to achieve the right interior layout as well as the furniture plan. As far as the interior design, we helped with the selections of the various finishes (flooring, bathroom tiles, paint colors for both interior and exterior, hardware, furniture and light fixtures). Working with great vendors such as Francois & Co. for the kitchen hood and the fireplace, Specialty Tile, Circa Lighting, Century Furniture, and many other wonderful local vendors. This helped us achieve the perfect atmosphere and architectural detail in the space. The clients were very involved in the selection process and so it helped that they had great taste! It was a great project from concept to the finished design.

During the planning phase we undertook a fairly major Value Engineering of the design to ensure that the project would be completed within the clients budget. The client identified a ‘Fords Garage’ style that they wanted to incorporate. They wanted an open, industrial feel, however, we wanted to ensure that the property felt more like a welcoming, home environment; not a commercial space. A Fords Garage typically has exposed beams, ductwork, lighting, conduits, etc. But this extent of an Industrial style is not ‘homely’. So we incorporated tongue and groove ceilings with beams, concrete colored tiled floors, and industrial style lighting fixtures.
During construction the client designed the courtyard, which involved a large permit revision and we went through the full planning process to add that scope of work.
The finished project is a gorgeous blend of industrial and contemporary home style.

A fantastic and cute remodel and addition to a small single story home. The main challenge with this home is that the property is in a flood zone and the home was originally built too low to the ground. So part of the construction process will involve raising up the original floor level and augmenting the existing foundations to support the higher floor level.
Outside of that small challenge, this remodel and addition came together really easily for my wonderful clients. Their main focus was to get as large of a great room as possible with a huge open kitchen, dining, and family room. The bedrooms are somewhat smaller to accommodate that request, but I was at least able to incorporate a home office for the work-from-home couple.

We are very proud of this project, as it was a full-home, very involved renovation process and included full-service decorating for the entire home. The house was originally had a mountain lodge feel. We stripped that look and brought in a classic American welcoming vibe for the main living areas, and more or a sleek, contemporary look for the master suite. All bathrooms had their own new appeal, representing the taste of each family member.

This transitional staging project was so much fun. For starters we generated a workable plan to get the client top dollar for their listing. Our clients decided to trust the process and moved forward with all of our staging suggestions per the written plan we generated for them. The successful Staging Resulted in a first showing offer, above asking! To get started we removed excess furniture and any items that might detract from the desired staging direction. The clients received full asking with a standard close date and all parties involved were very pleased with the outcome.
