Accoya®, the world-leading modified wood, has been used as the stand-out feature in a radical transformation of a modest 1960s bungalow to create a stunning contemporary UK family home.
The far-sighted renovation of Stuart and Rosie Treasurer’s “ugly duckling” dormer bungalow, lying in a leafy suburb in the Wirral, Merseyside, hit the headlines when featured on TV’s Grand Designs programme in November.
In an ambitious 12-month building project, their home was stripped to its ground-floor walls with a first-floor being completely reconstructed as a spectacular rectangular wooden box, with raw Accoya boards used for external cladding and fine sawn boards for internal decoration.
Around eight cubic metres of Accoya was used for both the external and internal cladding, supplied by Accoya distributor James Latham

This is my favorite bathroom I've designed to date. It was also the most technical project my brother has ever done. The two pics show what the old shower used to look like and what the old vanity looked like too. We moved a wall, built a wall, moved the toilet, vents, added in a heated floor with a touch screen programmable thermostat, 3 shower heads, 4 sconces, 5can lights, and mitered all outside corners of the tile. Cabinet is walnut and shelf in tub deck is walnut as well. I want to thank my customer for the opportunity to bring his ideas to life. But most of all I want to thank my brother Mike for his craftsmanship and dealing with all my design changes as the project developed. @premierstoneandtile

This homeowner’s master bathroom was a very popular style during the 90’s. Although, white can make a space feel larger, the bathroom was bland and needed an update. Soft neutral walls, marble tile throughout and shaker style Waypoint Cabinets, make this elegant bathroom a perfect place to wake up in the morning and unwind at night.
There are many features in this bathroom that we love. The veining pattern of the beautiful White Carrara marble tops and tub deck added just the right amount of contrast to this bathroom. Honed Bianco Perla Marble tiles were used in the shower and on the floor. The frameless shower reveals the finer details of this design with a basket weave tile accent band on the shower back wall, basket weave tile in the niche and on the shower floor. Bullnose tile was used to frame the window instead of wood trim and was also used inside the niche. Expansive framed mirrors enlarge the room and reflect back the window light and the beauty of the shower and tub. Heated floor mats beneath the tiles with programmable thermostat are unseen but will be highly appreciated by this home owner. No more walking on cold tiles!
The transformation of this bathroom is luxurious! White and Grey was used in this space which resulted in a crisp, elegant updated look that will remain in style for years to come.

These Canton, MA homeowners wanted to transform their standard build master bath into a more opened up and luxurious space.
Knowing they would be living in the home for many years, the couple wanted a comfortable and spa-like feel. To achieve this, Renovisions Design and Remodeling removed the existing door to the bathroom and re-worked a pocket door into the design creating a better flow into the bath from the master bedroom.
Replacing the existing fiberglass one-piece shower/tub with a custom built walk-in shower provided a larger space that is both functional and beautiful and a highly desired space to wind down at the end of their long workdays. Gorgeous porcelain tile compliments granite shelving, shower seat and curbing that was fabricated to match the existing vanity countertop. A frameless glass enclosure created a half-wall allowing for more light into the room yet ensures privacy.
Just a step away, a thermostatically controlled, programmable heated floor entices the homeowners on chilly mornings.
Now the clients have the master bathroom suite they had always wanted.

Installed new wall hung Kraftmaid Lyndale Oak vanity with Corain Designer White Countertop and backsplash. Grohe Chrome finish faucet and shower trim. Florina Sediment Tile accented with Tommy Bahama Cappadocia mosaic in this shower with a two shelf recessed niche enclosed by a Splendor shower door. A heated floor with programmable thermostat are completed with a Benton heated towel rack. Hinkley vanity light illuminates a Hazlewood recessed medicine cabinet.
