All siding was removed from left, right and rear. James Hardie cedar mill siding and trim boards were used to rebuild. Front wood dental moulding was removed and new Hardie 1x10 frieze board and Hardie Soffit was installed in the front. New portico was built using PVC and standing seam metal roof. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Superpaint.

The homeowner called because the thick coat of (poor quality) stain was peeling away "like a banana." He was even more concerned because underneath everything was "gray." Needless to say Renew Crew brought it back to life! We sanded away and smoothed the surface (the wood looked brand new!). Afterwards, we applied our high quality stain and restored the deck to it's original beauty.

Burlap is a neutral medium-dark brown that mirrors the tones of vintage coffee-stained burlap bags. Exterior Painting - For the exterior of this home, we used Benjamin Moore Aura paint. Selected for it's excellent adhesion and fade resistance, this paint also has a color lock technology that provides exceptional color. The siding is painted with Squirrel Tail 1476 in satin and the trim is painted with Vanilla Milkshake 2141-70 satin.

Moles were a big deal here. So the concrete border you see here goes down approximately 30" into the earth, with a blanket of hardware cloth beneath the sand substrate, offering an effective barrier to the vermin.
