Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless multicolored floor mudroom remodel in Minneapolis

This home is truly waterfront living at its finest. This new, from-the-ground-up custom home highlights the modernity and sophistication of its owners. Featuring relaxing interior hues of blue and gray and a spacious open floor plan on the first floor, this residence provides the perfect weekend getaway. Falcon Industries oversaw all aspects of construction on this new home - from framing to custom finishes - and currently maintains the property for its owners.

A leaky garden tub is replaced by a walk-in shower featuring marble bullnose accents. The homeowner found the dresser on Craigslist and refinished it for a shabby-chic vanity with sleek modern vessel sinks. Beadboard wainscoting dresses up the walls and lends the space a chabby-chic feel. Garrett Buell

This custom walk in closet has been designed by Lux Design, to reflect the high end style of the home owners. Beautiful pendant fixture have been selected to add additional lighting to the space, as well as complete the glamorous feel of the room. Subtle pink accents added for the perfect feminine touch.

Scotch moss and pebbles surround a basalt dish rock. Juniper wood raised vegetable beds provide a bench for passersby to sit.

A hall bath was carved out between two of the downstairs bedrooms. This deep bath is anchored by the tub with window allowing ample light. The sink was reclaimed from an original summer/prep kitchen in the home and refinished. The school house style bath is easy to clean, simple and ready for guests with it's abundant storage. Like most high rises in the city, this kitchen was lacking in square footage. To give the illusion of more space, super white cabinetry from Grabill Cabinet Company and Arabascato quartzite countertops were installed. Perfect for entertaining, dual peninsulas comfortably provide seating for four people. The multi-tiered ceiling provides both general task lighting & ambient cove lighting accentuating the architectural details in this kitchen. The Wolf induction cooktop and single oven, along with the Broan ventilation system, fit perfectly on limited available wall space. Neutral arabesque glass backsplash tile was used on the wall behind the hood to create an eye-catching focal point.
