This completely custom cocktail pool has plenty of space to lounge, including the glass tiled baja step and pool-length benches. The porcelain plank tile, Radiant Fusion-Regal Blue interior finish, and rain sheer all work together to make the space an absolute oasis.

The primary style of this new lounge space could be classified as an American-style pub, with the rustic quality of a prohibition-era speakeasy balanced by the masculine look of a Victorian-era men’s lounge. The wet bar was designed as three casual sections distributed along the two window walls. Custom counters were created by combining antiqued copper on the surface and riveted iron strapping on the edges. The ceiling was opened up, peaking at 12', and the framing was finished with reclaimed wood, converting the vaulted space into a pyramid for a four-walled cathedral ceiling. On the verge of a move across the country, these homeowners built a beautiful gate and fence line in their yard. The contemporary lines of the fence is simply lovely (see full photos of the finished project at photographer Eva Brennan’s site: http//www.evabrennan.com/1/post/2013/09/mission accomplished.html). The family used two different latches: The Modern Tapered Ring Latch and the Stainless Steel Ring Latch. They chose 10” Stainless Steel Strap Hinges with Pintles, as well as 18” Cranked Band Hinges.
