A door with a mirror inlay is the entrance to this bathroom. The white, hexagonal Carrera marble floor combines beautifully with the white subway tiles on the wall and the Carrera marble countertop. The built-in storage cabinet with wavy glass was built right into the wall, maximizing space and adding storage. What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. We used or created every nook for seating and storage throughout the house, as you can see in the family room, dining area, staircase landing, bedroom and bathrooms. Custom wainscoting and trim are everywhere you look, and gives a clean, polished look to this warm house. This basement’s bar area rivals any sports bar! The large football mural is actually laser-cut customized wallpaper. The bar itself was created out of reclaimed pine with a honed granite counter and support bars and footrails made from reclaimed black pipes. The front of the bar has wood trim offset by steel inlays. Behind the bar there is a sink and beverage center, complete with an icemaker and wine refrigerator. That distinctive backsplash is whitewashed “Chicago” brick and it is a great focal point that offsets the TV. The adjacent eating area has weathered shiplap walls and a silver, tin ceiling. The column separating the two spaces is wood with steel inlays, the same steel that was used beneath the front of the bar. Welcome to this sports lover’s paradise in West Chester, PA! We started with the completely blank palette of an unfinished basement and created space for everyone in the family by adding a main television watching space, a play area, a bar area, a full bathroom and an exercise room. The floor is COREtek engineered hardwood, which is waterproof and durable, and great for basements and floors that might take a beating. Combining wood, steel, tin and brick, this modern farmhouse looking basement is chic and ready to host family and friends to watch sporting events! The office is one of the most elegant “man caves” we have ever seen! Retaining and repointing the gorgeous stone walls, we tore down the roof of an existing covered porch, added a new one, walls and windows to create this “gentleman’s office”. At either end of the room, this space’s focal points are the custom designed shelves we built directly into the stone walls. The room is finished off with raised panels on the ceiling and lighting recessed directly into the soffit. We completely renovated this Haverford home between Memorial Day and Labor Day! We maintained the traditional feel of this colonial home with Early-American heart pine floors and bead board on the walls of various rooms. But we also added features of modern living. The open concept kitchen has warm blue cabinetry, an eating area with a built-in bench with storage, and an especially convenient area for pet supplies and eating! Subtle and sophisticated, the bathrooms are awash in gray and white Carrara marble. We custom made built-in shelves, storage and a closet throughout the home. Crafting the millwork on the staircase walls, post and railing was our favorite part of the project. Complete renovation of a colonial home in Villanova. We installed custom millwork, moulding and coffered ceilings throughout the house. The stunning two-story foyer features custom millwork and moulding with raised panels, and mahogany stair rail and front door. The brand-new kitchen has a clean look with black granite counters and a European, crackled blue subway tile back splash. The large island has seating and storage. The master bathroom is a classic gray, with Carrera marble floors and a unique Carrera marble shower. RUDLOFF Custom Builders has won Best of Houzz for Customer Service in 2014, 2015 2016 and 2017.
