The Word Puzzle, Chess and Checkers game boards showcase Tactile Porcelain Enamel Metal™ as both durable wall cladding and interactive play surface. The Word Puzzle, Chess and Checker board graphics were produced with integrated digital ceramics, enabling the game boards to withstand exterior conditions and wear over extended periods of time. Working with the client and the architect, our engineering and manufacturing team also developed unique magnetic game pieces in our Tactile Clear Acrylic™ which feature crisp silk-screened graphics and refined edges to provide an enjoyable, user-friendly gaming experience.

In order to save a historic childhood home, originally designed by renowned architect Alfred Giles, from being demolished after an estate stale, the current owners commissioned Fisher Heck to help document and dismantle their home for relocation out to the Hill Country. Every piece of stone, baluster, trim piece etc. was documented and cataloged so that it could be reassembled exactly like it was originally, much like a giant puzzle. The home, with its expansive front porch, now stands proud overlooking the sprawling landscape as a fully restored historic home that is sure to provide the owners with many more memories to come.

Luxury amenities such as custom millwork, motorized blinds, artisan stained glass, marble and stone flooring, and a kicking AV system were added to provide all the creature comforts. Bold Marimekko fabric colorfully complements more traditional detailing and creates a contrast between old and new. We loved collaborating with our client on an eclectic bedroom, where everything is collected and combined in a way that allows distinctive pieces to work together. A custom walnut bed supports the owner's tatami mattress. Vintage rugs ground the space and pair well with a vintage Scandinavian chair and dresser. A gorgeous mix of traditional and contemporary style in this Toronto home! We were able to pair old furnishings with new, neutral tones with vibrant ones, and wall decor with exciting new artwork! Since we have worked with these clients before, we knew their design style to the T. The couple was moving from the suburbs to the city, so we wanted to take their usual style (which errs more on the traditional side) and throw in some exciting and bold new elements — new chapter, new look! The design turned out light and airy which is balanced by the vibrant color accents, large artwork, wall coverings, and, one of our favorite pieces, a glamorous puzzle table!
