This late 70's ranch style home was recently renovated with a clean, modern twist on the ranch style architecture of the existing residence. AquaTerra was hired to create the entire outdoor environment including the new pool and spa. Similar to the renovated home, this aquatic environment was designed to take a traditional pool and gives it a clean, modern twist. The site proved to be perfect for a long, sweeping curved water feature that can be seen from all of the outdoor gathering spaces as well as many rooms inside the residence. This design draws people outside and allows them to explore all of the features of the pool and outdoor spaces. Features of this resort like outdoor environment include: -Play pool with two lounge areas with LED lit bubblers -Pebble Tec Pebble Sheen Luminous series pool finish -Lightstreams glass tile -spa with six custom copper Bobe water spillway scuppers -water feature wall with three custom copper Bobe water scuppers -Fully automated with Pentair Equipment -LED lighting throughout the pool and spa -Gathering space with automated fire pit -Lounge deck area -Synthetic turf between step pads and deck -Gourmet outdoor kitchen to meet all the entertaining needs. This outdoor environment cohesively brings the clean & modern finishes of the renovated home seamlessly to the outdoors to a pool and spa for play, exercise and relaxation. This outdoor patio is brings a luxurious experience with distinct seating areas. The covered deck is topped with a motorized louvered trellis by Smart Patio, complete with recessed lighting and two pendant space heaters--all are remote controlled. White table and chairs with beige seating pads and backrests tie the inside colors and textures to the outside. Hardscape elements include large poured pavers and plastered fire pit and surrounding seating. Slatted wood backrest, custom blue seating cushion, and multi-colored throw pillows complete the character of this fire pit seating area.

The focal point of this backyard retreat is the custom concrete fire pit. All of the walls surrounding the property are matching stacked stone and built to last by TRU Landscape Services

Here we are featuring the Orilfamme gas fire pit table with fire glass. It runs off a concealed propane tank or natural gas. This customer also chose our Terrace collection with the Sunbrella beige fabric. The set includes two club chairs and our very popular curved sectional for the most optimal conversation seating area.

Inspiration for a large contemporary dining room remodel in Chicago

Pavilion at night. At center is a wood-burning fire pit with a custom copper hood. An internal fan in the flue pulls smoke up and out of the pavilion. Octagonal fire pit and spa are on axis with the home's octagonal dining table up the slope and inside the house. At right is the bathroom, at left is the outdoor kitchen.
