Gib-San built this families pool almost 20 years ago and they loved it! However, as their children grew and moved out of the house... the homeowners were looking to update their backyard. They still wanted a pool but were looking to carve out a bit more entertaining space. We essentially built a new pool within the old pool and reduced the space by almost half to offer the couple more outdoor living space. The gorgeous new pool is flanked by an overflow spa and centered with a beautiful fire and water feature.

The Black Solar Shades are created with premium fabric, created to be durable and user-friendly. Easily adjustable, these shades easily move with a light pull at the bottom. These solar shades for windows may be used both indoors and outdoors.

This photo was taken from inside the chapel, looking towards the new master bedroom doorway. The old entrance was located right between the two highback chairs in the hallway. We struggled with just how to finish the opening around the bedroom door because we wanted to highlight the very unusual wall finish in the chapel. Architect Martina Lorey came up with the brilliant solution of reducing the door jamb to half its width, then creating a bullnose effect in the plaster that would wrap around the door opening. It was difficult to match the existing finish, but it was a fantastic addition to the project...the proverbial "icing on the cake" if you will. This particular home is a semi-detached with a back patio and walkway to their private garage. This year round concrete spa is a wonderful place to enjoy in all seasons! It can be kept at pool temperatures for summer enjoyment or turned up to enjoy as a spa throughout the seasons.
