Arabescato Vagli is a stunning brecciated Italian marble. Its cloudy white clasts are suspended in a pinkish background intersected by grey-green veins, for a sophisticated look unique to each slab.

Moondust by Jon Allen - JAC 138
The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. A new aspect of the painting will reveal itself to you as it basks in the light that surrounds, evades, or envelops it in that moment. When you see the piece from different angles, you will appreciate how vibrant, dynamic, and environmentally influenced these pieces are. What you may see and feel by morning is not what you’ll see or feel by dusk and in many ways, and as such I feel these pieces capture the ever-ebbing and complex nature of human emotion and perception.
Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Number of Pieces: 1
Dimensions: 14" x 46" x 2" off the wall
Care & Cleaning: Clean with a soft cloth and plain soap & water
Other Features: Hardware is pre-installed for simple hanging and art will “float” 2” off the wall

After two years of fighting with a failing pond liner, the resident decided to replace the liner in the pond. This 150’ x 115’pond sat above and flowed into a larger pond which was lined with PVC liner. We were replacing this with a 45 mil epdm fishsafe rubber liner. This presented a problem: there is no way to adhere the new rubber liner to the existing PVC liner in the lower pond. The solution was to pour a cement 18” wide x 2’ deep footing next to the wier damn between the two ponds in order to connect the two liners together. The old liner was placed on the top of the footing and a water-block sealant was used. The new rubber liner was placed on top and another layer of sealant along with stainless steel bars were laid atop the two materials in order to press them together to maintain a water-tight junction. A drain tile system was installed beneath the liner to relieve ground water pressure and vent off any gasses. Water tight seals also had to be provided for multiple plumbing penetrations through the liner. Non-woven geotextile planting media bags were used to prevent erosion around the perimeter of the pond. As the pond was landscaped with lawn and perennials, these had to be removed and preserved and maintained throughout the project in order to return them upon completion of the lining. All trenching work and removal of plant material was done by hand in order to maintain the surrounding landscape; great care was taken throughout the project in order to protect existing hard and softscape, so that upon completion, the area appeared almost exactly as it had been before work began.

Transforming an ordinary backyard into a one-of-a-kind outdoor retreat, this custom water feature project was designed and built around the property’s existing space, elevation, and natural surroundings.
The project features a custom koi and fish pond with clear water, aquatic plants, colorful koi, natural stonework, cascading waterfalls, and a flowing stream that travels through the landscaped side yard before connecting with the main pond.
Carefully selected boulders, river rock, stone pathways, plants, and natural materials were incorporated throughout the project to help the water feature blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. The combination of moving water, waterfalls, koi, lily pads, and outdoor lighting creates a peaceful backyard environment that can be enjoyed during both the day and evening.
Rather than installing a one-size-fits-all pond, every element of this project was designed around the homeowner’s property and vision. From excavation and water flow to stone placement, landscaping, aquatic plants, and finishing details, the goal was to create more than a pond—we created a complete backyard experience.
