Rudloff Custom BuildersAnchored by the red oak hardwood floor inlayed with mahogany that runs throughout the house, this bright and open kitchen has gray granite counters and white shaker cabinets with chrome knobs and cup pulls. The microwave and oven set into the wall give the room and clean, modern and distinctive look. The kitchen’s peninsula separates the prep and eating areas. This kitchen also has an office nook, with a custom built-in desk.
What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. We used or created every nook for seating and storage throughout the house, as you can see in the family room, dining area, staircase landing, bedroom and bathrooms. Custom wainscoting and trim are everywhere you look, and gives a clean, polished look to this warm house.

Rudloff Custom BuildersWith family life and entertaining in mind, we built this 4,000 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 full baths and 2 half baths house from the ground up! To fit in with the rest of the neighborhood, we constructed an English Tudor style home, but updated it with a modern, open floor plan on the first floor, bright bedrooms, and large windows throughout the home. What sets this home apart are the high-end architectural details that match the home’s Tudor exterior, such as the historically accurate windows encased in black frames. The stunning craftsman-style staircase is a post and rail system, with painted railings. The first floor was designed with entertaining in mind, as the kitchen, living, dining, and family rooms flow seamlessly. The home office is set apart to ensure a quiet space and has its own adjacent powder room. Another half bath and is located off the mudroom. Upstairs, the principle bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, with Carrera marble floors, furniture quality double vanity, and a large walk in shower. There are three other bedrooms, with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and an additional hall bathroom.

The black granite countertops and white cabinets are beautifully offset by black and gray mosaic backsplash behind the range and gold pendant lighting over the island. The huge window opens like an accordion, sliding completely open to the back garden. An arched doorway leads to an office and wet bar hallway, topped with a barrel ceiling and recessed lighting.

Rudloff Custom BuildersWe met these clients through a referral from a previous client. We renovated several rooms in their traditional-style farmhouse in Abington. The kitchen is farmhouse chic, with white cabinetry, black granite counters, Carrara marble subway tile backsplash, and a beverage center. The large island, with its white quartz counter, is multi-functional, with seating for five at the counter and a bench on the end with more seating, a microwave door, a prep sink and a large area for prep work, and loads of storage. The kitchen includes a large sitting area with a corner fireplace and wall mounted television.
The multi-purpose mud room has custom built lockers for coats, shoes and bags, a built-in desk and shelving, and even space for kids to play! All three bathrooms use black and white in varied materials to create clean, classic spaces.

Rudloff Custom BuildersWe met the owners of this 6-story townhouse in Philadelphia when we renovated their neighbor's home. Originally, this townhouse contained a multi-level apartment and a separate studio apartment. The owners wanted to combine both units into one modern home with sleek, yet warm elements. We really enjoyed creating a beautiful triangular, glass paneled staircase; a living garden wall that stretches up through 4 stories of the house; and an eye-catching glass fireplace with a mantle made out of reclaimed wood. Anchoring the entire house design are distressed white oak floors.

Made using the Bison system, these terra cotta tiles are elevated on posts to allow for drainage underneath. Rudloff Custom BuildersWith family life and entertaining in mind, we built this 4,000 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 full baths and 2 half baths house from the ground up! To fit in with the rest of the neighborhood, we constructed an English Tudor style home, but updated it with a modern, open floor plan on the first floor, bright bedrooms, and large windows throughout the home. What sets this home apart are the high-end architectural details that match the home’s Tudor exterior, such as the historically accurate windows encased in black frames. The stunning craftsman-style staircase is a post and rail system, with painted railings. The first floor was designed with entertaining in mind, as the kitchen, living, dining, and family rooms flow seamlessly. The home office is set apart to ensure a quiet space and has its own adjacent powder room. Another half bath and is located off the mudroom. Upstairs, the principle bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, with Carrera marble floors, furniture quality double vanity, and a large walk in shower. There are three other bedrooms, with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and an additional hall bathroom.

Rudloff Custom BuildersWhat a treat it was to work on this 190-year-old colonial home! Since the home is on the Historical Register, we worked with the owners on its preservation by adding historically accurate features and details. The stucco is accented with “Colonial Blue” paint on the trim and doors. The copper roofs on the portico and side entrance and the copper flashing around each chimney add a pop of shine. We also rebuilt the house’s deck, laid the slate patio, and installed the white picket fence.

Rudloff Custom BuildersThis custom-built staircase connects the new family room to the existing kitchen and is offset by a square newel post. The red oak floor is covered with a carpet tread.
What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. We used or created every nook for seating and storage throughout the house, as you can see in the family room, dining area, staircase landing, bedroom and bathrooms. Custom wainscoting and trim are everywhere you look, and gives a clean, polished look to this warm house.

The stunning two-story foyer features custom millwork and moulding with raised panels, and mahogany stair rail and front door. The brand-new kitchen has a clean look with black granite counters and a European, crackled blue subway tile back splash. The large island has seating and storage. The master bathroom is a classic gray, with Carrera marble floors and a unique Carrera marble shower.
