In another, stream inspired, design we worked in mulch around the tree to one side. Then placed two types of river rock to form our artificial streambed and bank on the other side. We placed large stones next to the concrete path to add a touch of color and symmetry. We worked with the existing garden, only adding a few drought-resistant plants. Finally, we placed larger, flat river stones as a pathway through the garden and hedge.

This custom swim resistance swim spa features a commercial-quality swim resistance system for current swimming. The swim spa also features an automatic pool safety cover, a therapeutic exercise bar, Primera Stone Diamond Head Treasure pool finish, and a Basketball system. The coping is Bluestone, and the planks that clad the exposed wall are Valder's Dovewhite limestone. There is also a mosaic tile border as well as on the stair treads. Photos by Larry Huene.

KraftMaster RenovationsDove white cabinets perimeter with warm gray and black accents are tied in with the traditional and rustic ambiance in the rest of the home. The new large island will hold the kitchen sink while guests can sit on the other end and enjoy the views. The range and hood are now a focal point between the exterior windows. Barn doors were be added to the newly enlarged opening to the dining room.
