This client did not like the previous would railing. She wanted something not as bulky and something with more style and design. We decided on this custom, hand curved, contemporary railing. Did you notice the floating bends in the railing. This railing has square tubing for the pickets and was powder coated black.

The upper level, steel grated stairs, have suspension wire railing, and are made of salvaged materials from the trade. This upper level bedroom will eventually be a children's playroom, but for the time being they are too little for this location. Industrial Loft Home, Seattle, WA. Belltown Design. This was really fun and unique project. This client was building a home up in the mountains. He came to us with an idea even before the home was constructed. He knew he wanted something different but also something that would really bring out his home and make the entry way "pop." Together we were able to come up with this idea because of another railing I had done the year before. The beams are made of reclaimed wood. The pickets are copper bar and the hand rail is reclaimed heavy equipment cable. It really came together really nice.

This ski-in, ski-out condo features a strong Arts and Crafts influence. The interiors feature reclaimed oak floors, mortise-and-tenon carpentry, stone, and custom period details.

The transparent silver shimmer transforms the yellowish OSB-structure in cool and glamorous rooms.
