Morning routines shouldn’t involve a traffic jam at the sink. The 2025 Houzz Bathroom Trends Study found that 65 percent of U.S. renovators now choose a double-sink vanity to skip the wait. Designers agree: Titan Builders dubbed 2025 “the year of bigger, storage-packed double vanities,” forecasting dual-basin setups in family, guest, and even powder baths. As KBIS 2025 launches land, prototypes for 2026 layer in spa-grade wood, built-in outlets, and planet-friendly finishes. In this guide, we rank six standout models and show you how to size, install, and enjoy a clutter-free, two-sink future.
Methodology and selection criteria
A well-planned double-sink vanity keeps busy morning routines calm and clutter-free.
Before we crowned any winners, we mapped the entire 2024–2026 double-sink (dual-basin) market. That meant parsing KBIS exhibitor releases, scraping bestseller lists from Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Wayfair, and reviewing designer short lists in trade magazines. The sweep produced 110 candidate vanities, giving us visibility into every style, price tier, and material in play.
We then scored each model against six weighted factors that continue to matter long after installers leave:
- Build quality – 25 percent.Solid hardwood frames, dovetail drawers, and furniture-grade plywood backs, never particleboard in disguise.
- Design versatility – 20 percent.Lines and finishes that suit modern, classic, or farmhouse baths without dating quickly.
- Sustainability – 15 percent.FSC-certified wood, CARB 2 compliance, and low-VOC finishes for healthier air.
- Storage efficiency – 15 percent.Deep drawers, tilt-outs, or power cubbies that corral countertop clutter.
- Value for money – 15 percent.Fair street price for the materials, stone tops, sinks, and soft-close hardware included.
- Brand reputation and warranty – 10 percent.Manufacturers with responsive support and at least a one-year parts guarantee.

Built in 1969 with only one previous owner, this quaint Cape house needed a full renovation. We took the opportunity to wire for both the client’s current and future needs. Ultra-high bandwidth cabling throughout the house allows for the next internet speed bump over 1 gigabit. The owners are self-described “recovering audiophiles,” so the speaker and equipment selection required a high-end solution to achieve this sound quality throughout 18 zones of indoor and outdoor audio. In addition, a lighting control system with close to 40 keypad locations strategically placed throughout the house was designed to let them control multiple lights from anywhere in the house, as well as to automate routine lighting scenes.
In the family room, a surround sound setup complemented a 77-inch OLED TV wrapped in a custom black walnut frame to conceal the TV. Several custom programmed iPads are located in rooms with TVs, as well as a master control in the kitchen. Lastly, smart thermostats, video doorbells, smart door locks, 11 high-resolution cameras, and a smart water leak protection system allow the owners to monitor the house whether they are home or away.

This refreshed vanity area features clean cabinetry, a modern countertop, and upgraded fixtures that bring a fresh, timeless look to the space. The design balances practicality with elegance, making daily routines feel more enjoyable.

Kate and CJ’s master bathroom was in need of a fresh start—a space that was outdated, with an unused bathtub and a cramped shower with no storage.
The vision was to transform it into an open, stylish retreat—a space for relaxation and enjoyment of daily routines. Removing the bathtub created additional room for a beautifully designed custom shower with that offered more space for showering, enhanced storage, and a built in bench.
A tiled in linear shower drain was installed adding to the modern feel of their new space. They selected Bronze Lira oversized penny rounds for their shower floor and opted to use this tile on the walls creating a gorgeous accent band around their shower.
For the walls, the Concept Blanco 8x24 tile was selected by Kate and CJ, creating a sleek and seamless appearance with matching grout. A large recessed wall niche was integrated into the design, using matching Bronze Lira tiles for a cohesive look.
To complete the space, Delta Stryke fixtures in Brilliance Stainless, including a shower valve and handheld shower head, were added, paired with sliding glass barn doors with brushed nickel hardware.
The original vanity remained, but thoughtful enhancements elevated its style. New Possini Euro Midtown vanity lights in Satin Nickel and Chesire framed mirrors by Winston Porter in brushed nickel brought a fresh, elegant look.
This master bathroom transformation achieved a perfect balance of functionality, comfort, and elegance. Their thoughtful design choices and quality materials brought the vision to life, turning the space into a beautiful retreat.

Shyla dreamed of transforming her master bathroom into a serene sanctuary with a Turkish feel. She sought a space that would provide a peaceful retreat while addressing outdated features and limited functionality.
The outdated layout presented a challenge, but after a thoughtful design phase, a plan was developed to create a functional and visually stunning space.
A custom walk-in shower became the centerpiece of the design, combining style with functionality. Moroccan Mix in Azure brought vibrant charm to the accent wall, while Smooth White tiles provided a clean and elegant frame.
The Bay View hexagon tiles on the shower floor added character and a fun style, while a built-in bench and a wall niche, finished with the same Azure accent tiles, provided useful storage and a unified look.
Replacing the old built-in tub, a freestanding tub in slate blue with brass feet became a bold and sophisticated centerpiece. Paired with a champagne bronze floor-mounted tub filler, this area radiates spa-like tranquility.
Sage-painted Waypoint cabinets paired with Calacatta Luccia quartz countertops added charm and elegance. Vessel sinks champagne bronze faucets, framed mirrors, and updated lighting completed the transformation.
Shyla’s master bathroom has been transformed into a serene and luxurious retreat tailored to her needs. The renovated space not only enhances her daily routine but also adds timeless beauty to her home.

This project was a delight to work on because not only did I get to design a completely new bathroom for this client, I also got to work with his daughter who was a co-decision maker. We started with an outdated bathroom from 1972.
Although we were to stay within the original floor plan, CSG created a more open space. The room has a skylight, so that helped. We upgraded this main bathroom for the retired professor who was so pleased !
The new aesthetic brought forth a cheery and uplifting experience in the most routine things we do daily, use our bathrooms. His daughter repeatedly said "Dad is so happy", so for CSG, we couldn't ask for anything more! This project was a delight to work on because not only did I get to design a completely new bathroom for this client, I also got to work with his daughter who was a co-decision maker.
