This was the most frequently used phrase in the collaboration of 3 energies that resulted with this masterpiece "Cozy Elegance". The builder, the client, and the architect shared a common vision inspired by the spectacular lake front homesite. Elegant, refined, authentic; every space was carefully thought out to capture and exude the understated significance of blending nature with the home, while expressing the heritage of the owners’ life’s journey. It is a place that will inspire new memories for generations to come.

Starting to feel a bit like Fall…. While we know we will have some more warm, summer like temps….here is some autumnal inspiration from the new collection “ A Journey in Colour” a wonderful collaboration by Roger Oates Design + A Rum Fellow. “This collaboration explores global representations of colour as a form of expression, reimagining traditional weaving techniques to find a shared creative identity, steeped in heritage” Williston couldn’t agree more!! Please stop by our new showroom to view all the many wonderful patterns that Roger Oates has to offer! Photos: rogeroates.com @arumfellow @roger_oates

The challenge for this garden was the side entrance to the house. We needed to make it clear which way to go and make the journey to the front door interesting and welcoming. This meant there had to be something happening in the garden year round. Foliage plays a big role in this garden! The pathways were designed to provide a gracious entrance and be wide enough in some spaces to allow for neighbors to gather outside the home office balcony. The backyard needed to accommodate the trampoline, food gardening, outdoor dining and entertaining. Who knew a trampoline could function as a room divider?! The raised beds are at a comfortable height and depth for easy tending and keeping pets out. The result is the whole family can share the yard yet every function has a zone of it's own. And, you always know what season it is!
