Master Bedroom W/ City Views
Inspiration for a rustic master carpeted bedroom remodel in Salt Lake City with white walls

This custom mulled three-piece window in the master bedroom offers an amazing view of the front of the house with two double hungs on the side to let some fresh air in. This became the centerpiece of the home.

Photo Credit: Alt Breeding Schwarz Architects This project features traditional style custom windows manufactured by Weather Shield. Quality Window & Door supplied the windows for this new home, designed by Alt Breeding Schwarz Architects. The home features a number of window and patio door types including casement windows, double hung windows, awning windows and hinged patio doors. All windows are traditional in design with simulated divided lites, giving the home an authentic traditional look consistent with homes native to the area.

Example of a transitional pebble tile floor, multicolored floor and single-sink walk-in shower design in San Francisco with shaker cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, white walls, an undermount sink, white countertops and a freestanding vanity

On the desk in the bedroom, Gail Shields & Co. Interiors chose from Cosulich Interiors an Italian Murano glass vases, contemporary work of art signed by Davide Dona'. The shape is unusual: Ovoid and angled; the mouth blown execution is extraordinary: The very innovative decoration is achieved with a sophisticated mirrored metallic finish in blue and silver then overlaid in clear glass worked with bubbles and inclusions of murrine applied like strokes of a modern painting.

Just imagine this home with plain, regular and boring windows/doors. See the difference? This project we were able to really explore some fun options without pushing too far into the "Modern" category.
