The elegant Entry Hall to this apartment is lined with hand painted Gracie wall-paper. The metal railing was re-worked using the original metal pieces and more detail was added along with carved brass inserts. The border of the floor is embellished with an inlay Greek key. This metal and wood railing combines sleek black metal balusters with square red oak posts and a square-profile handrail. The clean lines and natural wood create a contemporary design that feels simple, timeless, and well-suited to modern interiors.

The client wanted a unique railing design, they liked our organic work but wanted something a little more contemporary. The "tree" design is all forged and fabricated from flat bar and the horizontal rails are round stock. We used our cap rail which we forge in house.
