Starting from a blank canvas with a completely empty shell, the Gonyea Transformations team transformed this spacious garage into a sleek, luxurious personal retreat. The garage now boasts ample space for our client to showcase their cars, as well as entertain friends in the loft with a full bar and lounge. Some stunning details include a beautiful cable railing that leads to the loft, a walnut accent wall that adds additional architectural interest and works as a privacy barrier and entertainment center, and a notable bar with diamond plate details, thoughtful lighting, and the clients’ own “Lamborghini” sign to create a cohesive look within the whole garage condo. Explore more of this unique space below.

This unique concept provides an opportunity for car enthusiasts and like-minded individuals to own a private garage which they can personalize and showcase their collector cars or luxury vehicles. This new mixed-use building located in a quaint village has made a name for itself. It features a third floor apartment, second floor office space, and first floor retail. The design of the building's exterior bridges the gap between new and old. The cedar shingle gable roof form and double hung window style blend with the traditional New England context of neighboring buildings. The vertical grooved siding and a sliding 'barn' door hint at an agrarian vernacular. The sliding door features sixteen sparking panels of 'glass quilts' designed by glass artist, Alan Davidson of Guilford, CT. Angular roof forms, support brackets, and trim along with the black paint color provide a modern edge. The building and the new first floor art gallery have generated much interest and excitement for the town.

Jewett Farms + Co’s Reclaimed Antique Historic Wide Plank flooring is harvested from century old barns and wooden industrial structures. Antique historic plank truly captures the feel of reclaimed flooring material. With a rich mixture of hardwoods these boards are wonderfully eye catching and make for a unique floor, wall or ceiling solution.
Our Reclaimed Antique Historic Plank flooring features a blend of band and circular saw marks and the marks of many years of use. The blend of species results in a rich mixture of grain and varied light and dark colors. These characteristics are seen in addition to the more common reclaimed traits of sound knots, cracks, saw kerfs, insect marks and nail holes.
Jewett Farms + Co’s Reclaimed Antique Historic Wide Plank flooring is available to be shipped throughout the United States from our New England headquarters.

This ceiling was created with plaster molds and boasts over a 1000 miters. It took many months to complete. Old world craftsmanship at its best.

DHD Crosby Street Loft in SOHO, NYC
The Crosby Street Loft building is located on a cobblestone block in the Soho Cast Iron Historic District. Built in 1882, it was formerly a department store, and converted in 2001 to a 10-unit loft condominium. Our renovation of a second floor loft retains and celebrates many of the original details, including generous, open spaces, 14 foot plus ceiling heights, Corinthian-style columns, and a continuous 120 foot exposed brick wall with integrated archways. The design was a collaborative process, integrating elements discovered on the client’s world travels. Design features include a 12 foot tall glass lounge, two fireplaces, Control4 smart home system, a stone, cold-rolled steel and custom walnut cabinet kitchen and living room, and a luxurious master suite reminiscent of a 5-star hotel.
