Inspiration for a contemporary home gym remodel in Santa Barbara

A great view of the custom built playhouse. This structure features all the elements of an outdoor play structure, including two slides, monkey bars, mini rock climbing wall, a swing and a "trapeze bar" / ring combo. The left "cabin" has a set of cedar stairs that allow access to the upper deck and bridge to the upper deck of the right "cabin" The left cabin features a light switch which turns all the 12V DC lighting in each cabin on or off. It also has a cedar staircase to the upper level, a PVC "sound pipe" that allows two people to talk into it, a magnetic board for play magnets, access to the ball pit slide, and a cool "button box" that is programmed with different animal noises depending on which button is pressed. The right cabin is a combination kitchen / grocery store and puppet show area and contains all the related toys and details expected in such an area. The bamboo siding edges and corners are sourced from Texture Plus, who specialize in faux siding materials.

A luxury residence in Vail, Colorado featuring wire-brushed Bavarian Oak wide-plank wood floors in a custom finish and reclaimed sunburnt siding on the ceiling. Arrigoni Woods specializes in wide-plank wood flooring, both recycled and engineered. Our wood comes from old-growth Western European forests that are sustainably managed. Arrigoni's uniquely engineered wood (which has the look and feel of solid wood) features a trio of layered engineered planks, with a middle layer of transversely laid vertical grain spruce, providing a solid core. Located on a busy and cramped corner in Adams Morgan, D. A. Dunlevy had to work around tight spaces and street traffic. We encountered numerous challenges that were mitigated through careful planning and design. The finished design is a mixture of custom carpentry, advanced concrete work, curved benches, custom metalwork, unique lighting, and a boulder altar as a centerpiece. In the centre of this design, conceived as the hub of daily life, is a handleless island block with integrated seating area, to which the successful real wood surface programme BOSSA in walnut lends a special structure all around. The protruding, linear bars of the multi-award-winning BOSSA front create a warm, uniform overall appearance and give the kitchen a three-dimensional, very lively effect - a conscious planning decision to create an elegant as well as lively effect.

Harry Braswell, Inc. designers laid out the plan for the contemporary kitchen, which boasts red Viking appliances, a handmade red concrete drop-in sink, and raised silver tile.
