A client in Northbrook, Illinois worked with Chicagoland Home Products to make something – a custom storage unit, specifically – out of nothing. In their den was some unused space — making that into something functional is one of the most economical transformations you will ever make. The obvious key is that you don’t have to create the space. It is already there, just begging to be of value for whatever your imagination conjures. Here the unused space was given a purpose by filling it with fifteen cubbies which are being used for primarily books. These black cubbies are adjustable and the exterior has been trimmed out to give it a clean and finished look. Your creativity can find a variety of ways to use these shelves as you change what goes on them and the way in which they are configured.

This client has very eclectic style. So she had specific things in mind for her new bath. The results are astounding. The Restoration Hardware vanities and faucets are functionally and beautiful. In need of an updated exterior, these north Asheville homeowners called on The Hands of Sean Perry Co. to transform their 1920 colonial revival into a sleek, mid-century modern home. The team got to work refurbishing the existing exterior doors and installing new, custom Marvin windows in key locations around the house, adding a scenic picture window in the living area to brighten up the room and bring a bit of the outdoors in. Next, with a bit of creativity, they modified the existing exterior railing to create a new look that better aligned with the homeowners’ personal taste. After painting the exterior in fresh, cool-toned hues, the crew installed new seamless gutters and downspouts. Inside, woodworker Andy McFate and the Hands of Sean Perry team designed and built a new, custom banister to meet the residents’ specifications.
