Bathroom - small rustic master brown tile bathroom idea in Los Angeles

We collaborated with Alicia Jonik of Tracy Lynn Studios to create this custom counter height stool. The finish we came up with for this table was a custom mix of mid tone earth browns that are accented by whitewashed grain. This tied it to other light tones in the room and matched a dining table we in an adjacent room. The bulk of the chair is made of solid Ash wood. Each chair has over 16 connection points that are composed of a welded joint or floating mortise and tenons. This chair is extremely stable and durable. However, the star of this show are the metal accented foot rests. Not only will they stand up to abuse but combining wood and steel in a piece of furniture always creates visual interest that we love! Each foot rest was individually welded together and then bolted in the mitered dado slot for a snug fit. The foot of the stool is made up of a small 4 sided taper that was then blackened to match the color of the steel. The upholstery on top adds another layer of texture to the design while of course making it a very comfortable spot to park and enjoy the view of the beautifully designed kitchen.

The concept of the extension table is declared in its name (from "BRICK" brick): the precious teak, absolute protagonist of the collection, it breaks up into pieces, in a geometrically perfect joints paced game that characterize the design of the plan. At the dynamism of the extensible top it is opposed to the stability of the structure, drawn by bold lines and essential that shape the teak. The important dimensions and the functional throttle opening system that allows to easily extract the hidden extensions from the sliding plane, allow to create space for a large friendliness. Given the complexity of construction and the large number of wood blocks of the plan, over time may occur slight movements of these parts, if directly exposed to atmospheric agents. These movements are natural and do not affect the use and functionality of the table. To maintain stable BRICK table in time, it is suggested to place it covered areas such as porches or verandas. Here's the work that decides how long it lasts: Excavation. 8 to 12 inches below the final surface, down to stable soil. A patio built on topsoil sinks. A patio built on compacted ground doesn't. Base layer. 4 to 6 inches of crushed stone, compacted in lifts. This is the structural backbone — the deeper and denser it is, the straighter the surface stays. Bedding sand. A 1-inch precisely screeded layer of sharp sand. Not decorative — it locks the pavers in place and allows micro-adjustments without disturbing the base. Edge restraint + polymeric sand. The perimeter restraint keeps pavers from spreading sideways. Polymeric sand swept into the joints seals against weeds, insects, and water migration. What you pay for is the 2 inches on top. What makes it last is the 10 inches underneath. That's the difference between a patio that holds up for two decades and one that sinks near the downspout in year three.

Custom locally built dining table designed by For a family wanting a dramatic entry and dining room, but with requirements that it be an indestructible venue for weekly brunches with guest lists including small children! Our first solution was to create a contrasting border integral to the hardwood floor, in lieu of an area rug. From there, we introduced furniture in resilient materials such as fiberglass chairs and a locally made custom table of Heather's design in reclaimed hardwood, steel and acrylic.
