Country white wood exterior home photo in Denver with a shingle roof

A modern inspired, contemporary town house in Philadelphia's most historic neighborhood. This custom built luxurious home provides state of the art urban living on six levels with all the conveniences of suburban homes. Vertical staking allows for each floor to have its own function, feel, style and purpose, yet they all blend to create a rarely seen home. A six-level elevator makes movement easy throughout. With over 5,000 square feet of usable indoor space and over 1,200 square feet of usable exterior space, this is urban living at its best. Breathtaking 360 degree views from the roof deck with outdoor kitchen and plunge pool makes this home a 365 day a year oasis in the city. Photography by Jay Greene.

This was such a special project that we were completely honored to be trusted with. Our client had saved over 400 corks over a decade and was looking for help to incorporate them into a piece of furniture. Our thought behind the design was to create something that had a resemblance to a window since these corks all represented memories she could look back on. When you are dealing with material as priceless as that, the stakes are high but we are excited with how this turned out!
The case is a solid walnut with a hand rubbed and burnished oil finish to help accentuate the beautiful grain pattern. Our goal was to make the top the star of the show so we tried to make the drawer as discreet as so instead of adding hardware we made it a push to open drawer with a nice soft close. The steel base is flush all around the case and provides a nice contrast and mix of materials.
The top has a 1/4" thick piece of glass. Each section of cork is broken up by sections of flat black steel that are then framed out with bead molding which draws the eye toward the obvious feature of the corks.
We are so honored to be trusted with such a precious piece and thrilled that our client loved the finished result!

The goal for this master suite was to replace a dated, heavy layout with a sense of "Warm Minimalism." We wanted to trade visual clutter for intentional textures. By pairing the natural grain of White Oak with the crisp, architectural lines of Matte Black fixtures, we created a space that feels grounded, airy, and deeply restorative.
A master bath is a high-stakes environment where every inch counts. We took absolute ownership of the "inch-by-inch" planning required to expand the shower and incorporate a freestanding soaking tub without making the room feel crowded. Our Guided Process ensured the client felt confident in the bold choice of vertical stack tile—a design-forward move that draws the eye upward and adds a custom, boutique-hotel feel to the space.
This is a "Host’s Private Oasis." While the rest of the home is ready for guests, this bathroom is a master-grade sanctuary for the homeowners. The elite craftsmanship is visible in the precision of the tile alignments and the seamless integration of the natural wood elements, providing a feeling of pride and daily joy.

This transitional office design blends clean-lined sophistication with warm, moody character. Our clients wanted a space that exuded professionalism with a personal edge—equal parts executive function and whisky-bar ambiance. The result is a refined office with tailored details, curated materials, and an unmistakable sense of style.
A custom wall of built-in wood cabinetry anchors the space, framed by a rich charcoal stone backsplash and enhanced with integrated LED cabinetry lighting that casts a subtle, dramatic glow. These modern lighting elements highlight the open shelving and glass-paneled displays, giving this functional wall the presence of a luxe gallery installation.
The sleek Polanco executive desk—handcrafted from oyster-cut salvaged Mexican ash and sustainably harvested European ash burl—is a showpiece in its own right, its sculptural form and deep wood grain balancing the room’s structured lines. The tufted black leather Dylan Sofa introduces softness and texture, while gold accents and a fur throw infuse the space with layered warmth. Overhead, the Bennet Chandelier provides a statement moment with organic movement and just the right touch of glamour.
From the high-contrast color palette of black, brown, and gold to the refined panel molding and bold art pieces, every element was selected to support both productivity and personal expression. The space feels as inviting as it is impressive—perfect for focused workdays, high-stakes calls, or simply enjoying a well-earned break in timeless comfort.

Some projects arrive with pages of references, mood boards, and carefully curated inspiration folders. This wasn't one of them. The clients — a young, dynamic couple with a growing family — handed over their trust and asked for the best work possible. It's the kind of brief that raises the stakes and frees the thinking at the same time.
The design is organised around the views to the west — ocean, city, and the long light of the evening sky — with the upper floor pulled into an L-shape that bridges across two lower volumes below. That move creates something most homes don't have: a generous covered entry and breezeway at ground level, a moment of arrival that feels architectural rather than incidental. Above it, the upper floor cantilevers out and frames the western outlook from the principal living spaces.
Wellness was woven into the brief from the start. A hot yoga studio opens directly onto a large patio with a pool and hot tub, creating a private outdoor sanctuary that functions as a genuine extension of that space. At the rear of the property, a separate crossfit gym gives the clients a serious training facility without compromising the living areas of the home.
The result is a home that reflects what's possible when a client extends full trust and a designer meets it. Of all the projects in this portfolio, this is one that stands out — not just for what it contains, but for how completely it came together.
