This is the photo that inspired the client's new room! One day this summer, a gentleman brought in one of our Knilans’ flyers; he showed me a beautiful photo of a living room, that we featured! It incorporated quiet white furnishings, with a pop of gray and mustard; including a brightly colored accent rug! He was interested in duplicating the room, in his own home. We ran into a couple of stumbling blocks right away; the pattern on the chairs had been discontinued, and the pricing for the pictured furniture was a bit more than he wanted to invest into this room. I did a house call to see his room, did furniture layouts, I selected furniture pieces, and fabrics, that seemed inspired by the original room, and found THE rug.
