The clients loved them in their old kitchen; we furnished and installed new and better-quality spinners storage units. *A unique opening between the kitchen and family room that allowed homeowners to pass meals through as they enjoyed a movie from the family room. *A Smart-Divide porcelain enamel sink with stainless steel grids allow plenty of room for dirty dishes, pots and pans as well as separate areas to prep and wash dishes as needed. * Anti-glare finishes were a must have for these clients; kitchen cabinetry in a matte gray neutral finish, faucet and cabinet hardware in a matte black finish and stunning Cambria quartz countertops in a suede finish set the stage. At completion phase, homeowners were ensured that they were receiving high-quality products, style and craftmanship in the most efficient time frame and were thrilled with look of their new kitchen that also provided plenty of prep, entertaining and seating space. The clients attributes the success of the design to the emotions it inspired when the job was completed – they simply love everything about it!

South Baton Rouge Kitchen Remodel: If the kitchen space was a blank slate - how could it be designed to function best for the owners? Asking this question at the beginning and collaboration with the owner and designer that desired a beautiful end product was what contributed to the success of this project. We began with a center island cooktop that "cramped" the room for preparing meals and a relatively small refrigerator space. For an owner that loves to cook and entertain, we needed to increase the available space for cooking and food storage. In the end, we relocated the gas range to the side wall along with increasing the island size to allow room for meal preparation along with bar style seating for loved ones to "watch and test taste" while keeping good conversation close by the cook in action. We also were able to accommodate the owner's desire to increase the refrigerator/ freezer space without losing cabinet storage. Installing floor to ceiling cabinetry with accessory lighting gives this space the sense that good design and quality craftsmanship are necessary ingredients for another successful project by Spencer's Contracting.

The client wanted the remodel the existing dated kitchen they had, but it was very important for them that the kitchen will ‘disappear’ and will not look like a kitchen. The Star Line system of Alno was exactly the system to be used for that purpose, and with the custom panels applied to the appliances around had successfully helped the kitchen to disappear! The nice balance between the two door styles helped also to bring the fresh look and feeling to the new kitchen and successfully blend with the rest of the house. Door Style Finish: Alno Star Line Nature Line, wood veneer door style, in the carbon oak wood veneer finish, combined with Alno Star Line Shine, shiny laminate door style, in the white color finish.
