This is a whole luxury beach condominium that I had the privilege of decorating from scratch. I was going for a coastal vibe that looked timeless... I think that you can get tired of too much nautical. This color palette is calm and fresh. Combining natural woods with the richness of wicker, jute and raffia makes this space look extra cozy. Several custom made pieces of furniture were made, from cabinets in the living and dining room, to the headboards on the bedrooms. For the exterior I used aluminum furniture that looks like rattan and sun proof fabrics. The overall feel of this project was relaxed and inviting, just as the owners had envisioned.

Dining room - transitional dining room idea

In this beach condominium there is an open area combining the social areas. Look at how we were able to create independent spaces that flow together by building this breakfast bar. The texture of the rattan with the palm fabric create a very beach style space. On the back you can see how we took advantage of that wall to create a mini foyer, by putting a vintage console and mirror and using shells as accessories.

This outdoor terrace is ready for the beach weather! I used lightweight aluminum chairs that resemble rattan and weather proof fabric that stands the harsh sun and rain while still being fade resistant. The perfect setting for a brunch or afternoon cocktails watching the sunset!
