Part of Prairie Architect’s new space was this large staff kitchen and eating area.
The firm wanted to have an inviting community table and matching benches for their staff seating area.
We chose Douglas Fir as the species to match the heritage beams that were part of the previous space. The Douglas Fir used in the tabletop and bench were reclaimed from a dismantled wood grain elevator in Western Manitoba.
We came up with a brand new design for a table base incorporating sheet steel to make up the angular form.
Details:
165″ long x 36″ wide reclaimed Fir tabletop with OSMO Hardwax Polyx clear coat. Leg base is a Wood Anchor custom design built with sheet steel with powder coat clear coat finish.

Sometimes, the simplest furniture pieces make the best focal points; as proven by our casually stunning Proberta Two Tone Solid Wood Rustic Dining Table! The table is available in 3 different sizes: 59", 84" and 109" length to choose from.
The natural wood and white combination of this solid wood table’s finish is absolutely charming and perfect for creating a warm, welcoming ambiance. Moreover, its visual versatility allows it to be paired with a huge variety of standalone chairs. What’s more is that; it’s been completely handcrafted by the most skilled artisans and warrants a great heirloom quality.
The simple design of this rustic dining table can seamlessly integrate within any setting. It consists of a rectangular tabletop that features a stunning hand-rubbed finish and authentic Rosewood grain. The table's apron and legs have been done entirely in white to emulate a beautiful contrast. It’s just as simple as the top frame, but the English squire style legs manage to effuse it with a stylistic edge.
The great visual flexibility of this solid wood dining table is absolutely amazing. Not only does it provide adaptability with its placement, but also with how it can be matched with all sorts of interior design styles, be it traditional, contemporary, eclectic or others. But this solid wood table would look truly gorgeous when paired with the dining chairs and sideboard from our Proberta Two Tone Solid Wood 8 Piece Rustic Dining Room Set.

A distinctive fusion of a glass masterpiece and a refined table, the Mars Table seamlessly marries these two elements into a single entity. Its tabletop, reminiscent of the enigmatic Martian landscape, beckons with an irresistible tactile allure, tempting one's fingers to explore its fantasy-inspired contours, evoking thoughts of life's impermanence and unpredictability.

This transitional style kitchen design in Northville, MI is truly the heart of the home. Situated next to the home’s entrance, and adjacent to the dining and living areas, this kitchen will be the natural focal point of family life. The tone for this bright kitchen is defined by the Crystal Cabinets frameless Meadowland style door in simply white painted finish. The classic white cabinetry is offset by a gray quartz countertop and Alyse Edwards Half Baked Collection tile in “Icing on the Cake”. The bi-level peninsula separates the kitchen work zones from the entry hall and includes a round tabletop end with barstool seating for casual dining. The peninsula incorporates a 5’ Galley Workstation with an undermount sink and a Signature Accessory Package that has dual tier cutting boards, bowls, colanders, and a drain rack. The sink area also has Brizo Artesso Smartouch faucets, a Pedalworks Faucet Controller, and a Brizo Artesso soap dispenser. This galley style kitchen design includes ample storage in the main wall cabinets and the peninsula, and space saving measures like the built-in undercabinet microwave. The space is well lit by natural light through the large windows, as well as recessed lighting, pendants over the peninsula, and a chandelier in the dining area.

Kitchen remodeling project where the homeowners elected to upgrade their kitchen to a more contemporary look by installing new custom cabinets. For this project it was crucial to find more working space in such a limited kitchen size. To accommodate this, we designed a full Naxo extension table for them. This practical system consists of a tabletop peninsula that fits in the space normally provided by the drawer. Simply open the front panel to deploy the extension table. For the cabinets, the homeowners went with an Elegante door in white supermat by Northern Contours. We then installed a new quartz countertop and backsplash both done in Carrara extra. To complete the new look a new subzero fridge, Wolf induction cooktop, microwave drawer and oven were installed.

The generous scale and inviting silhouettes of our Sorrento Seating Collection evoke the relaxed warmth of Tuscany. Each piece is hand-built from sturdy aluminum with solidly cast, fine furniture details. Thick cushions, including side bolsters surround you in total comfort. We offer a choice of two tabletop styles: mosaic-embossed aluminum with a hand-rubbed finish or a travertine tile mosaic with creamy marble inlay from Ancient Mosaics. The elements of this kitchen design in Troy, MI all come together to create an elegant space ideal for cooking, casual dining, and entertaining. Crystal Cabinets custom kitchen cabinets feature the Keyline Tahoe door in a white finish for perimeter cabinetry and the Keyline St. Croix door in Blackstone stain on the island. This is offset by brushed nickel hardware, a Virginia Tile backsplash, and Fantasy Brown granite countertop on the island with Cambria Torquay quartz countertops on the perimeter. The island includes a round tabletop at one end with seating, perfect for chatting to guests while you cook. A striking stainless and glass island mount range hood sits over the cooking area in the kitchen island. The stainless undermount sink is complemented by a Brizo Artesso faucet and soap dispenser.

We named this design the 'Insignia' as to reference the building in Seattle where the original table (and bench set) now reside. The concept for the 'Insignia' table was motivated by minimalist-modern design and inspiration that arose from an admiration for Nakashima-style trestle bases. With our traditional 'Mez Works' style, we used dimensional walnut with a steel stretcher through the center of the tabletop to trace our 'Zeeva' and ‘Martis’ series tables, and the steel is treated with a ‘black-magic patina’ and clear powder-coat finish for an industrial element. The leaf mechanisms are drop leaf supports that are solidly built, structurally stable and sturdy to eliminate sagging. They lock in place automatically when raised, and are simple and quick to release.
This design is very versatile, and as shown in the photos the table can be purposed as use for a desk. While folded down, the drop leaf hides a charging outlet that is secured to the base directly under the tabletop, while power is integrated by feeding the cord through the base all the way out through the bottom to a fixed outlet in the floor.

The Hollywood Swank 5-Piece Formal Dining Set is designed to impress. Both its stylish high-back chairs and its magnificent dining table feature cabriole legs, highly popular in European furniture for centuries. Smoked glass inserts and stingray leatherette add elegant bits to the tabletop. With an included tabletop insert, the length of this table can be extended to sit more guests for those grand occasions.

This is the back wall of the custom wine cellar Dallas. The top section has single and double deep racks. Bottle orientations include the horizontal wine racks for magnums and double magnums and individual racks on the sides.
There is a tabletop at the center. Below the tabletop are shelves for case and bin storage.

Supernova is the sister piece to our fan-favorite Nova parson’s style dining table, but with some new eye-catching design elements. Featuring our signature tambour wood paneling on the edge of the table skirt, with an optional statement brass inlay tucked underneath the tabletop.
Supernova was originally commissioned in solid white oak, but is also available in walnut, ash, or blackened ash. Several coats of commercial grade varnish are sprayed on Supernova’s natural wood surface & add a layer of extra protection.
Supernova is an astronomical term for a star that suddenly greatly increases in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion that ejects most of its mass. (Because that’s just what she is- explosive).
