A cozy guest room is important in this beach condo rental. Quiet and serene is what was wanted by the owners and their guests. Photography from a friend was turned into custom art above the bed and on the side walls.

The primary bedroom, with stunning bones and original bay windows, had a tired, unimpressive fireplace. Its non-working function was upstaged by a tired, green glass mosaic surround. We refreshed it with a beautifully-veined white marble, painted black interior and a collection of candles for a romantic glow. Custom window treatments with Schumacher fabric, a proper window seat and a coordinating upholstered bed add a soothing softness to the space. Tailored touches including a cut-to-fit rug, beach-themed art (a nod to their home on Martha’s Vineyard) and a pair of caned sitting chairs helped to create a stately and luxurious retreat.

A warm and comforting bedroom dressed up by simple essential features. A Tailored Quilted Coverlet in a subtle pink and green floral print fabric sets the stage for the room’s feminine touch. This floral fabric is repeated on the two windows as asymmetrical swag & jabot treatments, further softening the space with the swags’ delicate curves. The asymmetrical jabots’ integrate the neighboring windows as a major focal point. Using a complimenting floral stripe fabric on both the gathered dust ruffle and on the bolster additionally accentuate this cozy bed. Altogether, these window treatments and bed coverings create a relaxing environment.

A new home rises in this beautiful waterfront location in Annapolis, Maryland... from a mid-century rancher, our client wanted to create a 'Coastal Chic' experience for their full time residence. Thanks to TailorCraft Builders, this project was a true success!

This collection of wall-mounted walnut cabinetry was tailor-made for a consummate collector! Fun grouping of antique dolls, skulls and butterflies are juxtaposed with the playful yet orderly composition of the cabinetry. Silver and green laminate add a unique touch to the dining room credenza. A custom TV quilt and cabinet which is essentially a series of shifting volumes houses the doll collection.
