This project is an Electronic House Magazine award winner: http://electronichouse.com/article/small_house_goes_big_with_home_automation We were brought into this project just as the major remodel was underway, allowing us to bring together a feature-rich audio/video and automation system with elegant integration into the spaces. This system provides simple control and automation of the lights, climate, audio/video, security, video surveillance, and door locks. The homeowner can use their iPads or iPhones to control everything in their home, or when away.

Most home theaters feel like an afterthought—a dark box in the basement with a few recliners. For this project, we wanted to build something that inspired pride the moment you walked in with a guest. We leaned into a Moody Transitional aesthetic, using a "color-drenching" technique with a deep, sophisticated teal across the walls, ceiling, and custom millwork. This creates an immersive, cocoon-like feel that’s as much about the atmosphere as it is about the movie. The centerpiece is the waterfall-edge stone bar. We designed this specifically so the host can pour a drink or serve appetizers without being tucked away in a kitchen or disconnected from the conversation. It bridges the gap between a high-end sports lounge and a professional-grade cinema. From the custom-curated memorabilia gallery to the digital "Now Showing" display, every detail was executed with elite craftsmanship to ensure this space feels like an extension of the homeowner’s success.

The “Rustic Classic” is a 17,000 square foot custom home built for a special client, a famous musician who wanted a home befitting a rockstar. This Langley, B.C. home has every detail you would want on a custom build. For this home, every room was completed with the highest level of detail and craftsmanship; even though this residence was a huge undertaking, we didn’t take any shortcuts. From the marble counters to the tasteful use of stone walls, we selected each material carefully to create a luxurious, livable environment. The windows were sized and placed to allow for a bright interior, yet they also cultivate a sense of privacy and intimacy within the residence. Large doors and entryways, combined with high ceilings, create an abundance of space. A home this size is meant to be shared, and has many features intended for visitors, such as an expansive games room with a full-scale bar, a home theatre, and a kitchen shaped to accommodate entertaining. Rec room, bunker, theatre room, man cave - whatever you call this room, it has one purpose and that is to kick back and relax. This almost 17' x 30' room features built-in cabinetry to hide all of your home theatre equipment, a u-shaped bar, custom bar back with LED lighting, and a custom floor to ceiling wine rack complete with powder-coated pulls and hardware. Spanning over 320 sq ft and with 19 ft ceilings, this room is bathed with sunlight from four huge horizontal windows. Built-ins and bar are Black Panther (OC-68), both are Benjamin Moore colors. Flooring supplied by Torlys (Colossia Pelzer Oak).
