Residential space in North Park's newest building by Jeff Svitak. Space was decorated for a couple who support local artists and love music. We started with a soft velvet sofa (color: moss) that instantly softened this large concrete space. While working around this sofa, we came across the walnut furniture set - it blended right in with the earthy feel we were going for. Plants have a power of bringing any space to life so we added the intertwining money tree and a soft green tree (supposed to be a fast grower). Once the furnishings were in, we added the artwork - a final touch to make this space a client's home. photo - Hale Productions

Premonition by Jon Allen - JAC 195 The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. A new aspect of the painting will reveal itself to you as it basks in the light that surrounds, evades, or envelops it in that moment. When you see the piece from different angles, you will appreciate how vibrant, dynamic, and environmentally influenced these pieces are. What you may see and feel by morning is not what you’ll see or feel by dusk and in many ways, and as such I feel these pieces capture the ever-ebbing and complex nature of human emotion and perception. Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. next project previous project In the historic community of Casa Blanca in Paradise Valley sits this beautiful and simplistic garden--one that is both secluded and peaceful due to its walled-in enclosures. The elegant foliage palette harmonizes outdoor living at its finest. Cast concrete slabs set the rhythm for the space while succulents and trailing herbs sneak through the hardscape breaks. The sense of privacy and calm created by the vined walls is unparalleled, especially when juxtaposed with the uplifting color from the fields of flax surrounding this truly unique secret garden in the Sonoran Desert.

This Master Bathroom in Norfolk received a complete gut, expansion and renovation. Through our Design Build process these homeowners worked with in-house designer Jason Hoffman to create their dream master bathroom retreat. When designing, Jason was able to offer ideas on how to gain square footage, ultimately adding a walk-in shower. Complete with a custom double vanity and beautiful tile work by Marshall Tile & Marble Company, this has been one of our favorite transformations to date. See the before and after photos below as well as some 3D renderings approved by the homeowners prior to construction. Our team both designs the renovation AND performs the work. Our talented carpentry crew and trusted subcontractors perfectly executed a design on paper to a well laid out, oasis retreat.
