You too can create your own artwork - mimic any pattern you wish. Simply transfer the design onto 4 artist canvases using pencil. Here we used the Pottery Barn comforter as our inspiration piece. Add paint to match. She had fun doing this.

The new shower was installed where the old tub used to be! We installed a new Atrium 3000 Series vinyl replacement window with obscure glass. The shower has the thermostatic valve, 6 position transfer valve, four body sprays, and separate hand-held shower, bench seat, and recess for shower products. We installed an LED light/fan above the shower. The shower wall tile is Anatolia Mayfair Statuario Venato polished 10.5" X 32" tile laid in a 1/3 - 2/3 pattern with Anatolia Mayfair Statuario Argento 2" x 2" basketweave mosaic on the floor and back of the recess/niche! We used Bostik true color urethane grout in the shower!

Basement Development – Fort Sask Fitness
The Design Studio | MTS Renovations transformed an unfinished residential basement into a fully functional, home-based fitness gym—Fort Sask. Fitness. This custom-designed space provides an inviting yet high-performance environment tailored for personal training and fitness sessions.
Project Scope & Features:
Design & Permitting - We prepared concept design layouts that we converted to construction drawings. We prepared and submitted all permitting applications for this home based business and provided client representation through each phase of the project up to and including final occupancy inspection.
Space Planning & Layout Optimization – We maximized the existing footprint for optimal functionality, ensuring seamless equipment placement, circulation, and safety.
Flooring Selection – We installed durable, shock-absorbing gym flooring to support high-impact training and reduce noise transfer.
Lighting & Electrical Upgrades – We enhanced brightness and visibility with LED lighting, strategically placed for an energizing atmosphere. We added dedicated electrical circuits to accommodate specialized fitness equipment.
Ventilation & Climate Control – We incorporated efficient HVAC solutions to maintain air quality and temperature for a comfortable workout space.
Custom Storage & Organization – We integrated built-in under-stair equipment shelving and storage solutions for weights, resistance bands, and fitness accessories.
Aesthetic & Branding Integration – We designed a modern, motivating environment with finishes that align with the Fort Sask. Fitness brand identity.
Soundproofing Enhancements – We implemented acoustic treatments to minimize noise impact on the rest of the home.
By blending function with design, this basement transformation created a professional-grade fitness space that caters to both personal and client needs—all within the convenience of a residential setting.

We added the pass through add arches to add to the transfer of light and the visibility of the ocean from the dining kitchen area.
Throughout the house flooring, base and door molding were replaced. All light fixtures, switches, and receptacles were updated.

Open-concept and filled with sunshine, a culinary hub that’s designed to be the social heart of this home and a subtle reference to the engaged, family-first lifestyle that would have been found in the original, heritage farmhouse located on this property.
8x5-foot* island (with seating for 4-5 people) includes storage on each side plus convenient USB outlets to keep everyone’s electronics powered up and ready to go. Easy flow when entertaining is appreciated by family/guests alike who want to engage with chefs-at-work without intruding into their workspace.
Pendant lighting above island is purposefully absent. View-lines to adjacent great-room remains unobstructed, thus fulfilling clients desire to provide the entire family (from teen to grandparents) with welcoming space to simply hang out together.
Gas cooktop (with elegantly-curved, chimney hood-fan) and two, full-sized wall-ovens (regular and microwave/convection) conveniently located adjacent to each other on the back wall where it’s easy to transfer steaming dishes directly onto the island ready for your guests/family to help themselves.
Subway-tile (3x6-inch) quartz backsplash creates visual continuity with the solid-slab island surface and perimeter countertops.
Custom millwork (in contemporary white with brushed chrome handles) designed with full-height cabinets with upper shelves back-lit for warm night-time visual. Extra bonus storage and reduced dusting: always a winning combo.
Easy-access spice kitchen includes all the features today’s savvy buyers expect from their cooking space: full-sized range with induction* cooktop, fridge, dishwasher, and 36-inch* sink that’s deep enough to effortlessly handle the biggest spaghetti/corn pots. A caterer’s dream too.
Large format (3x3-foot) marble-inspired porcelain floor-tiling is extension of material used throughout main floor. Elegant, contemporary, dramatic. Warm on the feet, thanks to energy-efficient, in-floor radiant heating.
