What a treat it was to work on this 190-year-old colonial home! Since the home is on the Historical Register, we worked with the owners on its preservation by adding historically accurate features and details. The backsplash is handmade porcelain white subway tiles with a crackle finish, which is a perfect accent for the white quartz counters and white cabinets. In the kitchen we re-worked a load-bearing wall to create a peninsula, opening the kitchen to the family room. The large windows, custom white and glass cabinetry, white quartzite counters and white marble backsplash work beautifully together to create a light-filled airy kitchen. The custom hood and pot filler over the range and the custom cabinetry and storage are special touches that we added to tailor this kitchen to the homeowners. Throughout the first floor, we added new red oak flooring. The main projects in this Wayne, PA home were renovating the kitchen and the master bathroom, but we also updated the mudroom and the dining room. Off the back of the house is a very private deck made of Azek. It has a redwood cedar open trellis over the hot tub. The stone walkway was constructed out of reclaimed Belgian block and was laid in circular pattern. In this classic English Tudor home located in Penn Valley, PA, we renovated the kitchen, mudroom, deck, patio, and the exterior walkways and driveway. The European kitchen features high end finishes and appliances, and heated floors for year-round comfort! The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. The open trellis over the hot tub provides just the right amount of shelter. Entered by a pocket door, the laundry room is anchored by a beautiful black and white, patterned, cement tile floor. The white shaker cabinets feature eye catching hardware. After tearing down this home's existing addition, we set out to create a new addition with a modern farmhouse feel that still blended seamlessly with the original house. The addition includes a kitchen great room, laundry room and sitting room. Outside, we perfectly aligned the cupola on top of the roof, with the upper story windows and those with the lower windows, giving the addition a clean and crisp look. Using granite from Chester County, mica schist stone and hardy plank siding on the exterior walls helped the addition to blend in seamlessly with the original house. Inside, we customized each new space by paying close attention to the little details. Reclaimed wood for the mantle and shelving, sleek and subtle lighting under the reclaimed shelves, unique wall and floor tile, recessed outlets in the island, walnut trim on the hood, paneled appliances, and repeating materials in a symmetrical way work together to give the interior a sophisticated yet comfortable feel. In this beautiful French Manor style home, we renovated the kitchen and butler’s pantry and created an office space and wet bar in a hallway. The entrance to this inviting living room is marked by two custom-made columns. The room’s focal point is the gas fireplace, which is surrounded by white Carrara marble and is topped with a white wood, crown moulding mantel. To draw the eye, the wall behind the fireplace is covered in custom, raised panel wainscoting. Other architectural millwork in the room includes wainscoting, crown moulding and door trim. The red oak hardwood flooring continues from the foyer, adding to the home's expansive and airy feel. This light and airy home in Chadds Ford, PA, was a custom home renovation for long-time clients that included the installation of red oak hardwood floors, the master bedroom, master bathroom, two powder rooms, living room, dining room, study, foyer and staircase. remodel included the removal of an existing deck, replacing it with a beautiful flagstone patio. Each of these spaces feature custom, architectural millwork and custom built-in cabinetry or shelving. A special showcase piece is the continuous, millwork throughout the 3-story staircase. We met these clients through a referral from a previous client. We renovated several rooms in their traditional-style farmhouse in Abington. The kitchen is farmhouse chic, with white cabinetry, black granite counters, Carrara marble subway tile backsplash, and a beverage center. The large island, with its white quartz counter, is multi-functional, with seating for five at the counter and a bench on the end with more seating, a microwave door, a prep sink and a large area for prep work, and loads of storage. The kitchen includes a large sitting area with a corner fireplace and wall mounted television. The multi-purpose mud room has custom built lockers for coats, shoes and bags, a built-in desk and shelving, and even space for kids to play!
