Influenced by the "prairie" house style famously introduced by Frank Lloyd Wright, this home consists of 6,500sf and includes 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths and one half baths. The rows of windows, open floor spaces, horizontal lines and flat roofs introduce a contemporary take on the prairie style. Another unique addition includes Passive House standards. High energy efficiency design was utilized throughout, with high Passive Solar standards and triple insulated air tight windows. Those factors contributed to increased air quality and optimal Passive House design.

Photo shows looking up through the Clerestory. Our company leaves the interior of our structures open and finished so as to see the beauty of the wood and the interesting expert craftsmanship. The two hanging pendants are hand blown glass and were made specifically for the Pavilion. The carved wood stars stream upward through the Clearstory from the two entrance alcoves. This custom canvas art by Zaworks is an abstract expression of ideas through dimension and texture. The monotone colour palette is balanced with light, neutral shades, and gradually transitions to darker shades and textures. This twist allows for books or other collectible items to be artfully arranged, categorized, presented. Diagonal compartments are the spine of the bookcase, so there is a progression of shapes: from the bottom to the top, creating an uplifting feel that has maximum storage capabilities. This is true to the Bauhaus principle, which denotes “form follows function”. In our bookcase design, warm traditional veneers paired with a modern finish and a versatile compartment proportioning make this piece of furniture one with the space. Beveled edges, visible from every notion, add a distinctive unique touch to the bookcase. A design element that is consistently used in our projects, which translates into sleek streamlined furniture designs.

It too draws on the best ergonomic principles to sculpt a bath with internal seating and built-in headrest, made available in a very compact footprint to fit into even the smallest bathrooms. In fact, Aquatica’s clever designers have managed to create this ‘small and tall’ tub, deep enough for full body soaking in a footprint of just 43”.
