The room needed some life, yet be a space where this busy single mother and Urgent Care physician could get some much needed rest and relaxation. A deep, grey-purple on the walls set the stage, and fabrics in variants of heathered purple, plum, pinks and roses was chosen for the bedding. Bright, mustard yellow added some excitement to the muted tones. The custom bedding creates an environment of luxury as well as extreme comfort. The two swivel chairs were updated with heathered purple velvet seat cushions piped in mustard yellow. The carpet was replaced with wood-look luxury vinyl plank—a must for families with kids and dogs. Because the client works many nights, being able to sleep during the day is a must. The ho-hum white blinds were replaced with floor to ceiling blackout drapery in embroidered linen on contemporary traverse rods. Her existing furniture, large and heavy and dark-stained, was painted white with a grey stain and distressed heavily. This gave the furniture new life as shabby chic! Additional lighting, updated fixtures, and carefully curated accessories round out this vibrant yet soothing space.

The primary bathroom design in this condominium has a floating vanity with flat panel dark wood cabinets and stainless steel edge pulls, white quartz countertop, and two undermount sinks. It has an earthy brown high-variant ceiling-height tile backsplash that coordinates with the shower tile, which is porcelain designed to look like aged steel. The shower has a partial glass enclosure and a bench seat.

This home already features a bold design, with bright colors and prints that contrast white walls and a tiled floor. The owners sought a facelift for the stairs in their entry, and chose to go with a stainless steel round handrail, and use our San Francisco Round cable railing system on the landing. Inline Design receives many requests about the San Francisco cable system – customers looking for the most minimalist look find the through-bolted fittings attractive. This system can only be used on a flat surface, and landings like this are a perfect fit! These customers chose a creative way to incorporate a handrail on the second set of stairs, mounting a Gamma Quasar bracket directly to the post. This is a bracket that has four mounting variants: sheetrock/wood, flat steel, round steel, or glass! Can you spot the round saddle tube adapter in this photo? Inline Design includes a round tube adapter with each of these brackets. It sits in between the flat saddle and the tube to support the round handrail of your choice.

When hosting larger parties, they make the most of their Laundry Room by turning into a Butler’s Pantry. Secretly hidden behind the base cabinets is an Asko washer & dryer. On the other, is a pull-out ironing board and hamper. Salad plates or trays can be made up ahead and stored in the refrigerator or the counter top can be set up as a Wet Bar when needed. The beautiful granite counter top and marble floor make this Laundry Room a very, elegant space.

The Kitchen. High modern equipment works well with the layout and feel of this house. Ample space is set to entertain guests, prepare meals and more. All the while enjoying the look and feel. Rubio Monocoat applied on the floors to add extra protection against oils and spills on the floor. We are proud to have installed the flooring in this lovely house. All interior spaces as well as the small patio were covered in French oak flooring with slight variants in board sizes and colour changes that are almost invisible to the eye. This was done to make sure there are no breaks in the seamless-ness of the design from one room to the next, giving it a continuous 'grandeur' effect in every room.
