Metal Comp. A galvanized structural steel decking system that fully integrates with our IntegraStone tile system.
Metal Comp radically changes the way decks are built because we can now build deck structures that last for generations, while still being cost effective. Metal Comp is: structural, waterproof and a non-combustible decking system that is made from 25 % recycled materials. The integrity of the whole system will remain for generations without shifting, warping or rotting. We create new possibilities for luxury outdoor living.
Metal Comp Deck System is manufactured in components that can be assembled and built by certified builders. The Metal Comp Deck System is ordered to size and is delivered with all the components required to build the structure and tile the deck. We remove the “running around” that builders typically face in construction. Our goal is to provide the builder with all the materials that they will need to for the entire job

These luxury authentic flat-weave collection represent an ancient method of creating a faux animal hair pile which was widespread amongst nomads from Central Asia to Turkey. Woven with cotton warps and Angora goat hair wefts. The goat hair creates the long haired fur-like look. Angora goats are named after the Turkish province of their origin, Ankara and these goats produce the fibre known as mohair. The lustrous hair of the angora goat occurs in every natural shade ranging from black through browns to white, thus making possible a wide variety of colour-schemes with no dyes.
More about Mohair…
Mohair is one of the oldest textile fibres in use. The Angora goat is thought to originate from the mountains of Tibet, reaching Turkey in the 16th century. Mohair is warm in winter as it has great insulating properties, while remaining cool in summer due to its moisture wicking properties. It’s possible to use double-side, hairy side for winter, woven side for summer. It is durable, naturally elastic, flame resistant, crease resistant, and does not felt.
It is a luxury fiber, like cashmere, angora and silk, and is more expensive than most wools that comes from sheep. Mohair is composed mostly of keratin, a protein found in the hair, wool, horns and skin of all mammals.

A homeowner in rural Waller County asked us to remove all of the old and breaking vinyl siding on his ranch style house and replace it will all new Hardie materials. And since we love a challenge, we gladly jumped at the chance. This house gave us the opportunity to show off the differences between vinyl and Hardie products, including siding, soffit, fascia, window and door trim, and their extra large ceilings on their large front porch.
As you can see, the old vinyl siding was warping, cracking, and falling off of the walls; the vinyl soffits and ceilings were stretched and sagging. This old vinyl siding was the OLD style with only the flat blue foam sheathing underneath it, which is always a concern because that foam has a very low perm rating, which means it is like wrapping your studs in Saran Wrap so moisture inside your walls cannot get out. In this case, we had to tear off multiple layers of stuff, including the old siding, the blue foam sheathing, the layer of original siding that was still on the wall, and all of the underlayers behind the siding. Often houses that have had vinyl siding for long periods end up discovering that their structural wood has absorbed water and parts of it have begun to rot. So wherever we find rotting or damaged load-bearing wood, we fix it. When all the studs are repaired, only then do we begin to apply to Hardie materials.

Solid Wood Floors
Solid floors are made with planks of solid wood, usually ¾ to 5/16” thick. Because they are solid, they can be sanded and refinished many times, giving them a long life span. They can be installed over a plywood subfloor at or above grade. They are not suitable for installation in basements.
Engineered Wood Floors
Engineered hardwoods are made with layers of wood veneers bonded together. The top layer is a finished wood that can be resanded a limited number of times depending on its thickness. Because it features multiple sublayers laid in opposing directions, it is more stable than solid hardwood and resists warping and damage from moisture better. For that reason engineered wood floors can be laid over concrete subfloors in addition to wood and are suitable for use in basements.
Wood Species
Color and Grain
Hardwood floors are produced from the wood of many species of trees, each offering different qualities that affect their appearance and performance. Some woods such as oak have prominent grain patterns; others, like cherry, have very mild graining. Every variety of wood also has unique natural coloring that affects its finished color when stained.
In addition, woods vary in their hardness, which affects how easily they will dent and scratch under regular use. In general, the harder the wood, the greater its scratch and dent resistance.

This 4-person hot tub is handcrafted from thick, solid Western Red Cedar, creating a strong and durable structure designed for long-term outdoor use in all climates.
The solid cedar walls provide excellent structural strength and natural insulation, helping the tub perform reliably in both hot summer conditions and freezing winter temperatures. Western Red Cedar handles temperature changes and moisture exceptionally well, remaining stable where many common wood species would warp or deteriorate over time.
This hot tub is equipped with integrated massage jets that provide gentle hydrotherapy while maintaining the quiet and natural soaking experience of a traditional cedar tub.
Unlike acrylic tubs, the all-natural cedar construction contains no plastic shell or synthetic surfaces. Western Red Cedar naturally resists moisture, mold, and decay, and releases a subtle natural aroma that enhances the soaking experience.
Built with thick solid staves and traditional construction methods, this cedar hot tub is designed to last 15–20+ years outdoors with simple and straightforward maintenance.

This close up staircase detail pairs a Reclaimed Wood Handrail with industrial rebar balusters for a striking mix of rustic warmth and modern edge. The natural grain and texture of the reclaimed wood stands out against the raw metal rods, creating a railing detail that feels both handcrafted and contemporary.
Every piece of reclaimed wood at Manomin Resawn Timbers is salvaged from 19th and early 20th century barns, factories, and warehouses, structures built during the Industrial Revolution from old growth hardwoods that grew slower and denser than the trees available today. Through our detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, that history is preserved and prepared for a new life in modern homes.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a space like this one, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood railings and custom wood details to fit your vision. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood.
