The exterior timber work is cypress with a Sherwin Williams "Covered Bridge" stain. Heavy Timber Truss & Frame designed a hybrid shell to the house to keep the budget in check. The walls and part of the roof were stick framed, while they used Neopor SIPs as the roof structure for energy efficiency.
